Masteroppgave i engelsk, Høgskolen i Agder, Kristiansand Joss Whedon’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer aims to empower young women through a declared feminist agenda. The main body of this thesis explores what it is that makes Buffy a television show with a feminist agenda. This thesis analyzes areas which privileges and problematizes human agency from the perspective morals in society. The series advocates using one’s agency in order to optimize potentiality. Virsstundu darba ietekme uz darbinieku rezultativitāti SIA “ PharmIdea”

Palielinoties darba apjomam, darbiniekiem bieži vien tiek prasīts strādāt virsstundas. Strādājot virsstundas, uzņēmuma darbinieki pārstrādājas, kas rezultātā noved pie darbinieka darba resursu izsīkuma un produktivitātes samazināšanās un nopietni ietekmē arī darbinieka veselību un labsajūtu, tāpēc ir nepieciešams izpētīt virsstundu darba ietekmes teorētiskos un praktiskos aspektus SIA “PharmIdea”. This paper deals with silence in video-based discourse, which includes pauses and delays. The data of the study is provided by international video conferences in which six in-service teachers and six pre-service teachers from three countries (Italy, the Netherlands, Hungary) together with a moderator and an assistent discuss sequences of their lessons. These discussions are part of a teacher training progrmme as conceived and implemented in the Erasmus+ project LEELU (www.leelu.eu). Darbā tiek izpētīta tīmekļa programmēšanas vēsture un mūsdienas, aplūkojot dažādas tīmekļa lietotņu izstrādes iespējas. Darbā tiek izpētīti dažādi vienas lapas lietotņu izstrādes ietvari un paradigmas. Izmantojot izpētes rezultātus, darba praktiskajā daļā tika izstrādātas divas lietotnes, kas demonstrē vienādas iespējas izmantojot divas dažādas programmēšanas valodas – TypeScript un C#. Izstrādātajām lietotnēm tika aprakstīta un salīdzināta to izstrādes gaita, kā arī tika iegūti kvantitatīvi dati, kas apraksta ietvaru piemērotību tīmekļa lietotņu izstrādei.

Tämä tutkimus selventää suhteita turvallisuuden, riskien sekä kompleksisten sosio-teknisten järjestelmien välillä. Käsittely tapahtuu pääosin yhteiskunnallisella tasolla, mutta eri järjestelmiä ja niiden yleisiä sekä teoreettisia perusrakenteita tarkastellaan kokonaisuuden ymmärtämiseksi paremmin. Stem cells are classified by their potential to differentiate into functional cells. Compared with other sources, adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) have the advantage of being abundant and easy to obtain.
