Improve the dielectric properties of PrSrNi0.8Mn0.2O4 compounds by longer mechanical milling

Abstract Structural and dielectric properties of PrSrNi 0.8 Mn 0.2 O 4 ceramics elaborated by a rapid method combining mechanical milling and heat treatment were studied for the first time. The raw materials are milled at different times ( t mil = 0, 5, 10, 20 and 30 h) and annealed at 1300 °C for 8 h to produce a revealed PrSrNi 0.8 Mn 0.2 O 4 single phase, exhibiting tetragonal structure with space group I 4/ mmm . This result was confirmed by using the TEM/ED pattern for sample milled at 30 h using the [001] orientation. An Analytic Approach to the Modeling of Multijunction Solar Cells

Analytic expressions for the $JV$ -characteristics of three types of multijunction configurations are derived. From these, expressions for the short-circuit current, open-circuit voltage, and voltage at the maximum power point are found for multiterminal devices, and for series-connected tandem stacks. For voltage-matched devices, expressions for the optimal ratio of the number of bottom cells to the number of top cells are established. Luminescent coupling is incorporated throughout the article. Simulation of IQE tuning of individual cells for DC-balancing multijunction tandem cells

In the present work, the performance of stacks of cells connected in series is examined at different levels of internal quantum efficiency (IQE). Incident photons, generated by employing the ASTM G173-03 data set, are accounted for individually as they interact with the stack of cells. The efficiencies of the devices studied are dependent upon the DC balance throughout the stack of cells. It is demonstrated that reducing the internal quantum efficiency of upper cells can lead to a better DC balance and thereby higher efficiency.

Analysis of damping in semi-active and active suspension systems is prerequisite for an advanced control and, eventually, energy harvesting functions. This paper addresses the damping in suspension system augmented by the piezoelectric (PE) stack. The Hamiltonian system approach with port-power modeling of single subsystems is used for describing and studying the dissipative properties of piezoelectric stack element, integrated in series with a standard quarter-car suspension.
