Hydrothermal liquefaction of municipal sludge was conducted to perform a practical assessment to achieve an integral valorization of this wet waste biomass. Experiments were done to investigate the effects of sub- and supercritical water and of the fluid dynamic regime on the energy recovery of the process and on the quality of the products. Experimental runs were performed at two different temperatures (350°C and 400°C) changing reaction time in order to work at the same kinetic severity of the process (LogR0=8.9, calculated as in ref. Cells of extramammary Paget's disease express cytokeratins different from those of epidermal cells.

The patterns of expression of cytokeratin polypeptides which are closely correlated to routes of differentiation of epithelial cells were studied in extramammary Paget's disease. Cytokeratins of uninvolved and involved epidermis were analyzed by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis of microdissected tissue preparations as well as by immunofluorescence microscopy using cytokeratin antibodies with different specificities. In uninvolved epidermis, cytokeratins Nos. 1, 5, 6, 10, 11, 14, and 16, characteristic of keratinocytes, were found. Quasi-Fractional Models of Human Tendons Hereditariness

In this study, the authors, after collecting a series of experimental evidences following a creep and relaxation tendon campaign, propose a non-linear model of the viscoelastic behavior of the tendons. The ligaments investigated are the patellars and the hamstrings. The analytical model proposed by the authors aims to explain the non-linear hereditary behavior of these tissues and proposes an approach with which to develop a hereditary fractional-order non-linear model.

Multi-criteria methods may help researchers to solve empirical problems in the construction of composite sustainability indicators and in ranking agricultural technologies according to their sustainability. This paper shows how a multi-criteria decision-making technique, the Analytic Network Process (ANP), can be fruitfully employed to this end. Tämä pro gradu-tutkielma on tapaustutkimus venäläisestä äärioikeistoliikkeestä, joka tunnetaan nimellä DPNI – Laittoman maahanmuuton vastainen liike. Tutkimuksella on kaksi tavoitetta. Ensinnäkin olen pyrkinyt rakentamaan liikkeestä yksityiskohtaista ja syvällistä yleiskuvaa vuodesta 2005 vuoden 2009 kevääseen ulottuvalta ajanjaksolta. Vaikka kyse on yksittäisen liikkeen tutkimisesta, työni rakentaa osaltaan myös esimerkinomaista kuvausta laajemmasta ilmiöstä; rasismin ja äärioikeistolaisuuden esiintymisestä Venäjällä ja niiden kytkeytymisestä identiteettipolitiikkaan.
