Shaping the Industry with a New Standard: Environmental Labels in the Aviation Industry

Several attempts have been made to make the aviation industry more sustainable with the help of environmental standards. This paper presents the idea of a new standard: the introducing an eco-label into the aviation industry. For this purpose 12 interviews with industry experts were conducted and thematically analyzed. It was discussed how environmental labels could be realized in the aviation industry. Eco-labels were seen as a useful tool for making environmentally informed choices. However, finding industry wide common agreement on eco-labels was seen as difficult and it would require an independent authority to set the right standards and rules. nonPeerReviewed

OBJETIVO: Propor um método de familiarização individualizado para saltos verticais e verificar o seu efeito na variabilidade intrassujeito. The aim of this study is to explore rater effects, such as consistency and severity of the judgements of 12 expert judges, and to report the extent of assessment criteria used by them. The data of the study are based on the three different phases of the standardization procedure which were analyzed using the MFRM model. In addition, feedback gathered from the expert judges was used to find out their opinions about the procedure and to validate the results of the standardization. Control charts are commonly used to monitor a process to detect undesirable changes. The main goal of this work is to propose exponentially weighted moving average (EWMA) and cumulative sum (CUSUM) control charts to track a process by utilizing type-I censored generalized exponential (GE) distributed data. In particular, the censored data are replaced with the conditional expected value (CEV).
