Project report : Lessons learned from terminology harmonisation
2022
A common understanding of language and the meaning of concepts is needed for communications in general, and can be crucial to save lives in large rescue operations. Redningshåndboka (the National Rescue handbook) provides a common glossary for first responders’ communications across all sectors in training and practice. However, today each sector maintains their own glossaries, acronyms and jargon, causing potential misunderstandings in joint operations. In this report we outline lessons learned from national and international standardisation and additional practical project outcomes to contribute to terminology harmonisation from the INSITU project.
Certification as support for resilience? Behind the curtains of a certification body — a qualitative study

This study explores whether ISO 9001 quality management system certification can support resilience in healthcare, by looking at characteristics in the objectives, methods, and practice of certifi…

In addition, most establishments have individually adapted their records in relation to structure, access control and roles. Moving forward the goal is to provide a…
Integrating Telemedicine Solutions with Electronic Health Records; Evaluation of Alternatives based on the Proposed Reference Architecture for Norway
2016
This report studies the way forward for how a telemedicine solution can be integrated for exchange of data with an existing Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. In addition, the EHR solution from DIPS ASA is used as an example of an existing system for integration. Important parameters for choosing way forward on how to are: • urgency with regards to timeli…
