Wind speed and relative humidity have been the physical variables used in empirical expressions for equilibrium marine aerosol distributions. Recent formulations, which include the role of hydrostatic stability because it influences turbulent transport and entrainment of clear air from aloft, are examined on the basis of 1 um radius aerosol number density values. The aerosol data were collected along with a quite complete meteorological data set in the Northeast Atlantic during the international Joint Air Sea Interaction Experiment (JASIN-78). International audience; The contribution of modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) in extending the shelf-life of high-pressure treated raw poultry sausages was examined by considering microbial and oxidative stability (TBARs) aspects. Raw poultry sausages packaged under air or modified atmosphere (50% CO2–50% N2) were pressurized at 500 MPa during 5 min at a maximum temperature of 10.5 °C, subsequently allowed to refrigerated storage during 22 days. During storage, samples were tested at time intervals for headspace gas composition, pH, TBARs, Aerobic Mesophilic Counts (AMC) and Lactic Acid Bacteria (LAB) counts. Pomen vsakršnih (tudi pravnih) izrazov ali stavkov je torej obravnavan kot nekaj stopnjevitega, oblikovanega na več ravneh. The XMM Cluster Outskirts Project (X-COP): Thermodynamic properties of the Intracluster Medium out to $R_{200}$ in Abell 2319

We present the joint analysis of the X-ray and SZ signals in A2319, the galaxy cluster with the highest signal-to-noise ratio in Planck maps and that has been surveyed within our XMM Cluster Outskirts Project (X-COP). We recover the thermodynamical profiles by the geometrical deprojection of the X-ray surface brightness, of the SZ comptonization parameter, and an accurate and robust spectroscopic measurements of the temperature. We resolve the clumpiness of the density to be below 20 per cent demonstrating that most of this clumpiness originates from the ongoing merger and can be associated to large-scale inhomogeneities. Galaxy clusters are the endpoints of structure formation and are continuously growing through the merging and accretion of smaller structures. Numerical simulations predict that a fraction of their energy content is not yet thermalized, mainly in the form of kinetic motions (turbulence, bulk motions). Measuring the level of non-thermal pressure support is necessary to understand the processes leading to the virialization of the gas within the potential well of the main halo and to calibrate the biases in hydrostatic mass estimates. In human plasma, the cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) plays a key role in lipoprotein metabolism by promoting the net mass transfer of cholesteryl esters from HDL towards apoB-containing lipoproteins, and the transfer of triglycerides from VLDL towards HDL and LDL.
