Flexural Behavior of Steel Fibrous Reinforced Concrete Deep Beams

Experimental research was carried out regarding the flexural behavior of deep beams cast with plain and fibrous concrete with hooked steel fibers, and subjected to monotonic vertical loads. Four deep fiber-reinforced concrete beams were cast. Two of them were made of plain concrete with main and web steel reinforcements (RC), and two were made of hooked steel fiber-reinforced concrete (SFRC) with main steel reinforcements. The experimental results show the brittle behavior of reinforced deep RC members characterized by crushing of concrete struts and fracture of web steel bars. Indagine sperimentale sul comportamento di pareti sismiche in acciaio sottoposte a taglio

The paper concerns the experimental results performed on steel (S 235) zinc plated panels having 1500 x 1150 x 1.5 mm dimensions, linked to hinged steel frame. In order to the slenderness of plates, considerable displacements out-of-plane are evident at loads significantly lower of ultimate load. Considering the steel constitutive curves obtained from tensile tests, the comparison of experimental and numerical (ADINA) results is proposed. The results show the excellent seismic behaviour of the system having stable hysteresis loops.

The research concerns the analysis of structural behaviour of some historic-monumental buildings in which steel structures are used for the seismic protection. A dynamic model has been made to individuate the macro-element with an high seismic risk, that is, for church studied, the drum-dome system. Then a scaled model has been tested to determinate the evolution of the lesions, the retrofitting works, that are constituted by steel frames, bare or braced, inserted inside door/window holes of the drum-dome system, and the variation structural ductility. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kartoittaaopettajien mahdollisuuksia vaikuttaa alakoulun oppilaan haasteelliseen käyttäytymiseen. Pyrkimyksenä oli myös selvittää opettajien näkemyksiä uusista, vaihtoehtoisista, vaikutusmahdollisuuksista käyttäytymisen muuttamiseksi. Lisäksi tutkimuksessa oli tarkoitus selvittää opettajien näkemyksiä koulun yhteisistä toimintamalleista. Tutkimuksen aineisto kerättiin kyselyn (n = 27, 21 naista ja 6 miestä)sekä haastattelun (n = 8, 5 naista ja 3 miestä) avulla.
