The entry into force of Act 2.0 did not change one fact – the library still remains an important part of the university’s micro and macro academic world, although it was formally noticed by the legislator to a small extent. Validation of Semantic Analyses of Unstructured Medical Data for Research Purposes

BACKGROUND: In secondary data there are often unstructured free texts. The aim of this study was to validate a text mining system to extract unstructured medical data for research purposes. METHODS: From a radiological department, 1,000 out of 7,102 CT findings were randomly selected. These were manually divided into defined groups by 2 physicians. For automated tagging and reporting, the text analysis software Averbis Extraction Platform (AEP) was used. Caurspīdīgu nanostrukturētu keramiku iegūšana un izpēte

Kristālu audzēšanas procesā tiek patērēts daudz enerģijas. Caurspīdīgu keramiku iegūšanas process ir daudz vienkāršāks un prasa mazāk enerģijas. Nanostrukturētām caurspīdīgām keramikām piemīt izturība pret augstu termisko gradientu. Šīs īpašības dēļ, tās būtu pielietojamas lāzeroptikā, optiskajos logos un citur augstu temperatūras atšķirību apstākļos. Ar spektroskopijas metodēm tiek pētīts materiāls, un identificētas vairākas sakarības starp luminiscences spektrālo sadalījumu, materiāla struktūru un defektiem tajā. Iegūtās zināšanas izmantotas keramiku luminiscences spektrālā sastāva analīzei. Pirmo reizi iegūti paraugi nanostrukturētai caurspīdīgai ZrO2 keramikai.

Ārstēšanās metožu meklējumus smagu saslimšanu gadījumos cilvēki turpina arī tad, ja izārstēšanās prognozes nav augstas. Maģistra darbā problēmsituācija aplūkota no cerības skatpunkta. Pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, ko nozīmē "uzturēt cerību" – kas ir iesaistīts cerības uzturēšanā, kā tas notiek un kādēļ cilvēki turpina cerēt. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka cerība ir daļa no slimības kultūras, kas tiek apgūta ar ārstu, tuvinieku, mediju un citu iesaistīto palīdzību. Pētījumā apstiprināts, ka cerība ir pozīcija, kas tiek rūpīgi kopta, turklāt uzturēt cerību nozīmē ne tikai dziedināšanas gaidas, bet arī dzīvošanu, lai kādas būtu dziedināšanas izredzes. Nestrukturētu režģu iegūšanai eksistē dažādi automatizēti rīki ar kuru palīdzību var ērti diskretizēt visdažādākās ģeometrijas, tomēr nestrukturētu režģu kvalitāti ir grūti kontrolēt, kas var nelabvēlīgi ietekmēt augstas precizitātes aprēķinus. Alternatīvs ir ģenerēt strukturētus režģus, kas ir daudz laikietilpīgāks un sarežģītāks darbs, jo katrai ģeometrijai ir jāizstrādā režģa ģenerēšanas procedūra. Monitoring wild boar (Sus scrofa) populations

Celem pracy była ocena liczebności populacji dzika (Sus scrofa) z uwzględnieniem struktury wiekowo-płciowej. Badania przeprowadzono na podstawie monitoringu z wykorzystaniem fotopułapek. Obserwacje prowadzono od maja 2015 do czerwca 2016 roku w zachodniej części Polski na terenie Opolszczyzny w Nadleśnictwie Prószków, w obwodzie łowieckim Nr 48. Sezonowe wahania częstości bytowania osobników reprezentujących poszczególne klasy wiekowo-płciowe były zauważalne w składzie i wielkościach pojawiających się watah. Prowadzenie rocznych obserwacji za pomocą fotopułapek pozwala przewidywać tendencję zmian wielkości pogłowia w przyszłych sezonach na podstawie liczebności pasiaków. Z kolei zarejestrow…
