RESUMEN Se investigó la estructura factorial de la Time Management Behavior Scale (TMBS) en universitarios colombianos. La gestión del tiempo es un importante predictor del logro estudiantil y clave para la disminución de la deserción universitaria. Participaron 494 estudiantes de primer año de nueve programas en dos universidades de la ciudad de Bogotá. Se comprueba una estructura multidimensional de cuatro subescalas que explicaron el 42.68 % de la varianza total. Reliability of adapted version of Italian Label tobacco Impact Index for the adolescent: ALII

OBJECTIVE: The aim of this study is to assess the reliability of the Adolescent Label Impact Index (ALII) , it is an adolescent adapted version of Italian LII of the tobacco products warnings. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A sample including students aged 13-15 years was considered. The ALII is constructed by 4 items: salience, harm, quitting and forgo. The questionnaire was self-administered to study participants twice with 3 days between each administration (T1 and T2) to measure reliability. Pētījuma “Latvijas studentu mācību mobilitāte: Latgales reģiona piemērs” mērķis ir analizēt Latvijas studentu mācību ģeogrāfisko mobilitāti Latgales reģionā, aplūkot augstākās izglītības mācību iestādes izvēli un mobilitāti ietekmējošos faktorus. Pētījuma tēma nav plaši pētīta, galvenokārt ir pieejami atsevišķi pētījumi par jauniešu mācību mobilitātes ikdienas pārvietošanās ieradumiem uz izglītības iestādi. Bakalaura darba pētījums tika veikts balstoties uz Latgales reģionālo augstskolu (Rēzeknes Tehnoloģiju akadēmijas un Daugavpils Universitātes), studentu sniegtajām atbildēm anketās un intervijās.

Analysis of the determinants of entrepreneurial intention: the case of Burkina Faso

International audience; In this study, we propose to analyze students' entrepreneurial intention, drawing on Lazear's (2004) self-selection model. This model captures the role of "human capital" in employment assignment and emphasizes the importance of the variety of skills in the individual's entrepreneurial orientation. For this purpose, we have a database collected in 2017 from over 1000 students at Ouaga I and Ouaga II universities in Burkina Faso. The results of estimates obtained using the quantile regression method show a positive and significant effect of the diversity of skills on the intention score, mainly at the median level. Albanian students’ motives for preferring certain real-life situations for learning mathematics

This article reports on a qualitative investigation of Albanian students’ motives for preferring certain real-life situations to be used in school mathematics, and possible connections of these motives to characteristics and issues within Albanian society. It is based on realistic interviews with students from Grades 8 and 9 in a school in the district of Shkodra in northern Albania. Interviews were conducted after students experienced five teaching units which dealt with mathematics embedded in real-life situations.
