Artykuł przedstawia tzw. metrykę nacji polskiej na Uniwersytecie Padewskim, przechowywaną w Archiwum Historycznym Uniwersytetu Padewskiego. Dwa tomy wpisów przedstawicieli Rzeczypospolitej Obojga Narodów, studiujących lub tylko przebywających w Padwie pomiędzy rokiem 1592 a 1745, określano dawniej m. in. jako Album, Codicilli, Liber Nationis, Liber Congregationis s. Despite the fact that it could help to understand University as a system and ways regions can evolve, the study of students' migrations was not yet done. A set of results highlights first the main role of French capital region. It shows also main changes in migrations of students following vocational training in University. At least, it reveals that architectures of students' migrations look like these of migrations of the whole French population.

Engaging with feedback: How do students remediate errors on their weekly quiz

2018

International audience; Maths for Business is a first-year mathematics module for approximately 500 non-mathematics specialists. It has continuous assessment consisting of ten weekly quizzes, worth 40% of the final mark. In 2016/17, students who did not receive the maximum five marks on their weekly quiz were offered the opportunity to resubmit their quiz, with correction(s) and an explanation of their error(s), for one additional mark. We refer to this process as ‘remediation'. In this paper, we examine how students remediate their errors in order to identify features of a ‘good' remediation. These features are identification, description, and correction of errors. By analysing a subset of…

Innovación en la gestión educativa: un estudio empírico

2021

ABSTRACT This paper analyzes the impact of innovative education tools-in this case, based on experimental methodology-on the acquisition of theoretical knowledge among management students. The study incorporates a clear split-sample design using two equivalent, randomly created groups. One group participates in a classroom experiment designed to illustrate the concept of the Phillips Curve, while the other participated in a traditional non-experimental lesson. The experiment is implemented under a strict protocol, while results evaluation is based on the comparison of post-experiment academic performance, which guarantees full anonymity and privacy of decisions. This design analyzes the imp…

The Role of Resilience in Student-Athletes’ Sport and School Burnout and Dropout : A Longitudinal Person-oriented Study

2019

Although it has been shown that student‐athletes who pursue upper secondary school alongside with an athletic career may be prone to sport and school burnout, the concrete life changes resulting from burning out, such as dropping out of sport or school, have not been investigated. Moreover, it is unknown why some student‐athletes do not burnout. The purpose of the present study was to examine whether there are different kinds of profiles—based on the level and development of sport and school burnout symptoms across upper secondary school—that can be identified among student‐athletes and how resilience and the likelihood of dropping out from sport or school differ between the profiles. The s…

2019
