Darba autori diplomdarbā “Profesiju izpētes metodes priekšmetā “Dizains un tehnoloģijas” skolēnu sagatavošanai tālākizglītības izvēlei” izstrādāja un aprobēja trīs veida metodes, kas balstītas veiktajā literatūras izpētē. Teorētiskajā daļā ir apskatītas skolēnu tālākās izglītības izvēles, to statistika un kādi projekti tiek piedāvāti Latvijā un pasaulē, lai veicinātu skolēnu izpratni par profesiju specifiku, kas palīdz skolēniem pieņemt lēmumus, kāda profesija viņus interesē vairāk un ko izvēlēties tālāk studēt. Privātskološana un vecāku satraukums par izglītību Ķīnas "dubultās samazināšanas" politikas kontekstā

Privātskološanas izplatība politikas veidotājiem rada grūtības. Ķīnas “Dubultās samazināšanas” politika paredz samazināt privātskološanu, lai atvieglotu slodzi skolēniem. Šī darba mērķis ir atrast galvenos cēloņus, kāpēc vecākiem ir trauksme par savu bērnu izglītību, meklējot saistību starp privātskološanu un vecāku satraukumu par bērnu izglītību. Pētījums ir balstīts uz literatūras izpēti un anketu, kurā piedalījās 656 vecāki, kuru bērni ir 1. līdz 12. klases skolēni Ķīnā. Rezultāti liecina, ka vecākiem jau bija raksturīga konkurences psiholoģija, un vecāku trauksme par bērnu izglītību vairāk veicina privātskološanas uzplaukumu, nevis privātskološana rada vecāku trauksmi par bērnu izglītīb…

AbstractIn this article we examine first-year student teachers’ possibilities to become interested in professional issues in teacher education. We study the phenomenon of becoming interested among first-year student teachers via three different kinds of data. We analysed our data through John Dewey’s definition of interest, where a person has an interest if s/he is actively keen on some object that has personal meaning for her/him. According to our data, student teachers adopt an object of interest that teacher educators provide. Reflective journals are often used to enhance clinical placements learning outcomes. Learning Analytics (LA) is a recent research branch that refers to methods for measuring, collecting, analyzing, and reporting learners’ data, in order to better understand and optimize the processes and the environments. Knowledge Tracing (KT) deals with the modeling of the evolution, during the time, of the students’ learning process. Combining individual and group-level perspectives for studying collaborative knowledge construction in context

Abstract The aim of this article is to identify concepts and methods for studying collaboration in context. The article presents a two-level methodology designed to combine individual and group-level perspectives for the evaluation of collaborative knowledge construction in student groups. The group-level analysis is focused on the students' negotiation processes. A self-report questionnaire gives insight into students' short-term impressions, meaningful activities and personal meanings attached to different activities.
