Per promuovere un atteggiamento scientifico negli insegnanti, i ricercatori che usano un metodo empirico in campo educativo, devono autocontrollarsi affinché, consapevolmente o no, alcuni atteggiamenti personali non inficino la validità dei risultati ottenuti. To promote a scientific attitude in teachers, researchers who use an empirical method in the educational field, they have to self-control so that, knowingly or not, some personal attitudes do not affect validity of the results achieved.

Making experts-by-experience : governmental ethnography of participatory initiatives in Finnish social welfare organisations

This dissertation analyses expertise-by-experience in Finnish social welfare organisations as part of the participatory practices presented as new democracy. It employs a governmental ethnographic method to investigate how a person with difficult experiences is made into ‘an expert of one’s own life’ and how the subjectivity thus created is connected to different possibilities and rationales of participation. Based on our ethnographic analysis of different training sessions on the Nike+ Run Club platform in Buenos Aires, in this article we study how ontological coaching operates in the field of sport and races.
