O* - Dynamical Systems and * - Derivations of Unbounded Operator Algebras

A spatial theory is developed for * - derivations of an algebra of unbounded operators, in terms of the concept of O*-dynamical systems. Three notions of spatiality emerge, depending on the nature of the corresponding generator. Special emphasis is put on O*-dynamical systems generated by one-parameter groups of *-automorphisms and their *-derivations.
The Bernstein Basis and its applications in solving geometric constraint systems

International audience; This article reviews the properties of Tensorial Bernstein Basis (TBB) and its usage, with interval analysis, for solving systems of nonlinear, univariate or multivariate equations resulting from geometric constraints. TBB are routinely used in computerized geometry for geometric modelling in CAD-CAM, or in computer graphics. They provide sharp enclosures of polynomials and their derivatives. They are used to reduce domains while preserving roots of polynomial systems, to prove that domains do not contain roots, and to make existence and uniqueness tests. A highly efficient metal-free catalytic system for the aerobic photocyanation of tertiary amines with visible light is reported. The use of air as terminal oxidant offers an improved safety profile compared with pure oxygen, the used compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) light sources are highly economical, and no halogenated solvents are required. This system not only proves to be effective for a wide variety of trialkylamines, pharmaceuticals, and alkaloids but remarkably also allows the lowest catalyst loading (0.00001 mol% or 0.1 ppm) ever reported for an organic dye. Precise phenotypes of IgE-mediated allergic diseases will be defined in MeDALL. As part of MeDALL, a scientific seminar was held on January 24, 2011, to review current knowledge on the IgE-related phenotypes and to explore how a multidisciplinary effort could result in a new integrative translational approach. Gabor systems and almost periodic functions

Abstract Inspired by results of Kim and Ron, given a Gabor frame in L 2 ( R ) , we determine a non-countable generalized frame for the non-separable space AP 2 ( R ) of the Besicovic almost periodic functions. Gabor type frames for suitable separable subspaces of AP 2 ( R ) are constructed. We show furthermore that Bessel-type estimates hold for the AP norm with respect to a countable Gabor system using suitable almost periodic norms of sequences.

Solid state recycling processes have proved to be environmentally friendly alternatives to recycle aluminum alloys process scraps like chips.
