En 1868 se pronunció el general Prim y hubo levantamientos en distintas ciudades, de los progresistas, los demócratas y los republicanos. El ejército interviene para cambiar gobiernos. Dos años antes, por el pacto de Ostende, Prim y otros altos militares habían llegado a un acuerdo con políticos exiliados para derrocar a Isabel II. Una grave crisis económica había provocado un amplio descontento popular. Fueron etapas difíciles, de graves enfrentamientos; la exclusión de los moderados no permitió consolidar una situación nueva. Situata all'interno dell'odierno Dipartimento di Giurisprudenza, l'Aula Magna dell'Università di Palermo è stata progettata dall'architetto Antonio Zanca che firma nel 1929 il progetto esecutivo di un ambiente neo-settecentesco dotato di mobilio e decorazioni pittoriche sulle pareti. Nel 1934 è stato indetto un concorso nazionale per l'affidamento delle decorazioni pittoriche vinto da Arduino Angelucci e Manlio Giarrizzo cui spettano rispettivamente la volta e le pareti. Classification of Heart Sounds Using Convolutional Neural Network

Heart sounds play an important role in the diagnosis of cardiac conditions. Due to the low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), it is problematic and time-consuming for experts to discriminate different kinds of heart sounds. Thus, objective classification of heart sounds is essential. In this study, we combined a conventional feature engineering method with deep learning algorithms to automatically classify normal and abnormal heart sounds. First, 497 features were extracted from eight domains. Non-syndromic Mitral Valve Dysplasia Mutation Changes the Force Resilience and Interaction of Human Filamin A

International audience; Filamin A (FLNa), expressed in endocardial endothelia during fetal valve morphogenesis, is key in cardiac development. Missense mutations in FLNa cause non-syndromic mitral valve dysplasia (FLNA-MVD). Here, we aimed to reveal the currently unknown underlying molecular mechanism behind FLNA-MVD caused by the FLNa P637Q mutation. The solved crystal structure of the FLNa3-5 P637Q revealed that this mutation causes only minor structural changes close to mutation site. Sudden cardiac death (SCD) is a global public health burden accounting for 15–20% of all deaths. Though established atherosclerotic risk factors explain a large proportion of the risk of SCD, these factors are often absent in a large proportion of SCD victims and the pathogenesis of SCD is still not fully established. It therefore appears that additional factors may be involved. Sauna bathing is a traditional Finnish activity that is mainly used for the purposes of relaxation and pleasure. Prevalence of genetically similar Flavobacterium columnare phages across aquaculture environments reveals a strong potential for pathogen control

Intensive aquaculture conditions expose fish to bacterial infections, leading to significant financial losses, extensive antibiotic use and risk of antibiotic resistance in target bacteria. Flavobacterium columnare causes columnaris disease in aquaculture worldwide. To develop a bacteriophage-based control of columnaris disease, we isolated and characterized 126 F. columnare strains and 63 phages against F. columnare from Finland and Sweden in 2017. Bacterial isolates were virulent on rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) and fell into four previously described genetic groups A, C, E and G, with genetic groups C and E being the most virulent. Complete Genome Sequence of Fish Pathogen Flavobacterium columnare Strain B185, Originating from Finland

We report a complete genome sequence of a Finnish isolate of the fish pathogen Flavobacterium columnare. Using PacBio RS II sequencing technology, the complete circular genome of F. columnare strain B185 with 3,261,404 bp was obtained.
