Quinto Orazio Flacco è fra i più tradotti auctores latini nelle culture letterarie d’Europa, soprattutto nei secoli XVI, XVII, XVIII. La ricostruzione repertoriale e critica delle traduzioni che hanno avuto per oggetto il suo corpus si offre, quindi, come documento particolarmente significativo della fortuna traduttoria di un mito letterario, in quanto attesta il rapporto di imitatio/aemulatio che numerosi autori hanno stabilito con il modello nel momento in cui hanno deciso di assimilarlo, attraverso le traduzioni, alle lingue e alle culture nazionali cui essi appartengono.

La novela Tengo miedo, torero (2001) de Pedro Lemebel aborda la situación de la comunidad transgénero en Santiago de Chile bajo la dictadura de Augusto Pinochet. El gesto escriturario del autor apunta a la recuperación de la memoria histórica de su país desde el punto de vista de la parodia, la irrisión, la incongruencia y la suma de contrarios del oxímoron Camp. Background and purpose: Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease with limited treatment options. RNS60 is an immunomodulatory and neuroprotective investigational product that has shown efficacy in animal models of ALS and other neurodegenerative diseases. Is personality related to permanent earnings? Evidence using a twin design

Using twin survey combined with register-based panel data on labor market outcomes, the authors examine the association between personality characteristics and long-term earnings among prime working-age individuals. The long-term earnings were measured over the 1990–2008 period. The sample contains 4,642 twin pairs, of which 53% are females. In contrast to previous studies, this paper uses the within-twin dimension of the data to control for shared family background and confounding genetic factors. Employee personal use of technology at work (PUTW)—defined as employees’ activities using organisational or personal IT resources for non-work-related purposes while at work—is increasingly common in organisations. Our review of existing PUTW studies (n = 137) suggests that previous studies widely discussed PUTW outcomes, antecedents, and policies. The literature review also indicates that previous studies have proposed opposing viewpoints regarding the effect of PUTW on employee job performance, but few studies offered empirical evidence. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan työpaikan menettämisen ja muiden taloudellisten ja ei-taloudellisten kannustimien vaikutuksia alueelliseen muuttoliikkeeseen. Käytämme yhdistettyä työnantaja-työntekijäaineistoa sekä tietoja alueellisista asuntomarkkinoista. Työpaikan menettäneillä tarkoitamme heitä, jotka menettävät työpaikkansa toimipaikan sulkemisen tai joukkoirtisanomisen takia. Työpaikan menetys lisää henkilön muuttoalttiutta noin 80 prosentilla. Työpaikan menettäneet näyttäisivätkin reagoivan taloudellisiin kannustimiin, sillä alhainen oletettu palkkataso ja korkeat asuntojen hinnat alueella ovat yhteydessä lisääntyneeseen muuttoalttiuteen alueelta, josta henkilö on jäänyt työttömäksi…
