Vapaaehtoinen suosittelu on kasvamassa organisaatioissa yhdeksi merkittävimmistä vies-tintäkanavista. Kaikki tieto yrityksestä on saatavilla sekunneissa ja vuorovaikutus toisten henkilöiden kanssa on nopeampaa kuin uskoisikaan. The Charter and Code incorporating the Human Resource Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is a European Commissions initiative to make researchers’ careers more attractive, and increase, and support the mobility of researchers by standardizing the researchers’ careers in EU area. The reputation of the quality of the working life in Finland has been fairly good. However, the university employees’ working conditions are often very precarious. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää miten perheen demograafiset taustatekijät, kuten perheen perhemuoto, sisarusten olemassa olo, vanhempien koulutustausta ja työtilanne ovat yhteydessä lapsen työskentelytapoihin ja niiden kehitykseen ensimmäisen kouluvuoden aikana. Lisäksi oltiin kiinnostuneita siitä, eroavatko tulokset sukupuolen mukaan. Tutkimus toteutettiin osana Vanhemmat, opettajat ja lasten oppiminen-tutkimusta (VALO; Aunola & Nurmi, 2006-2009). Tutkittavina olivat 152 (79 tyttöä ja 73 poikaa) ensimmäisen luokan oppilasta sekä heidän vanhempansa ja opettajansa kolmen keskisuuren kaupungin alueelta Suomessa. Para analizar el nivel de los/as estudiantes, se ha elaborado una encuesta sobre diversidad funcional y sordoceguera. Artykuł zawiera próbę zarysowania przyczyn i możliwych sposobów rozwiązania kryzysu migracyjnego, jaki zaistniał w państwach Unii Europejskiej w pierwszych dwóch dekadach XXI stulecia. Dokonano krytycznej oceny mitów i negatywnych stereotypów narosłych wokół fali emigracji. Omówiono konsekwencje przyjęcia Konwencji Dublińskiej (1990) oraz jej nowelizacji (2003 i 2014), gdzie zostały określone zasady postępowania w pro-cesie o status uchodźcy. Student development theories (SDT) focus on the growth and change occurring in students while attending higher education. In this article, we propose that the application of student development theories supports holistic development in international students and helps us understand international students’ academic success and integration. We outline a combination of student development models, derived from SDT, and interact them with concepts from international student mobility and migration (ISM). These models, when applied to student services, may assist higher education institutions (HEIs) in designing student services for international students enhancing academic success and integration.

Internationalization at home (IaH) policies in higher education institutions (HEIs) are rarely negotiated with and by students. Therefore, students’ takes on such policies could be missed opportunities for HEIs. This qualitative study investigates international and local students’ negotiations and meaning-making of integration and IaH as stated by institutional policies.
