Behavior change types with Pokémon GO

Digital games1 are one of the most popular entertainment media in the world. Teir allure and widespread popularity makes them an interesting and highly potential platform for behavior change atempts. In this paper, we investigate what types of behavior changes Pokémon GO has promoted or induced among its players. Te study is based on an online survey sample of 262 Pokémon GO players, collected using the critical incident technique and analyzed using qualitative methods. Pētnieciskais darbs pētī aluzīvu terminu esamību biznesa angļu valodā. Darba teorētiskā daļa sniedz teorētisko pamatojumu pētījuma jautājumam, kāda tipa alūzijas visbiežāk atrodamas biznesa angļu valodas terminoloģijā. Empīriskā izpēte veikta, lai noteiktu un analizētu biznesa jomā lietotos un dažādās biznesa angļu valodas vārdnīcās un biznesa terminoloģijas resursos minētos terminus, kuri balstīti alūzijās, kā arī šo alūziju tipus. Mērķa sasniegšanai tika izmantota sekvenciāli skaidrojošā pētniecības metode. Analizējamais korpuss sastāv no divdesmit viena biznesa jomā lietota termina. This paper reports mesurements of the densities and refractive indices of the binary systems toluene + isooctane and methylcyclohexane + isooctane and the ternary systems tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) + toluene + isooctane and tert-butyl alcohol (TBA) + methylcyclohexane + isooctane over the entire range of composition at 298.15 K. Excess molar volumes and changes of refractive indices were evaluated from the experimental data obtained. These derived properties were fitted to variable-degree polynomials. The experimental values of physical properties were compared with the values estimated by different methods.

Tā kā rakstu valodas pilnveide ir aktuāla tēma augstskolā, bija svarīgi uzzināt par vienaudžu atgriezeniskās saites īstenošanas efektivitāti darījumu vēstuļu apguvē. Uzmanība tika pievērsta lietišķai sarakstei angļu valodā, jo šim žanram ir svarīga loma cilvēku profesionālajā un ikdienas dzīvē. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, gadījuma izpēte tika izmantota kā galvenā pētniecības metode. Pētniecības dati tika iegūti ar pirms- un pēcaptaujām, pirms- un pēctestiem, ieskaitot kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo paraugu analīzes. El objetivo de este trabajo es presentar la experiencia de las tertulias pedagógicas dialógicas como estrategia en la formación inicial de maestros. Los participantes fueron el alumnado de la asignatura de Observación e Innovación sobre la Práctica en el aula de educación Infantil del Grado de Maestro en Educación Infantil de la Universitat de Valencia. La muestra está formada por un total de 50 estudiantes (49 mujeres y 1 hombre). Tras el visionado de la película planteamos una reflexión individual sobre la misma, lectura del libro “23 maestros, de corazón. Tämän kandidaatintutkielman tarkoituksena oli analysoida Fëanoria, fantasiakirjailija J.R.R. Tolkienin luomaa fiktiivistä sankarihahmoa. Kuvaileva kirjallisuustutkimus jakaantui kahteen osaan: Toisaalta Fëanoria verrattiin traagisen sankarin käsitteeseen käyttämällä Aristoteleen Runousopissa (330-320 eKr.) kuvailemia sääntöjä ja vaatimuksia. Toisaalta Fëanoria verrattiin Kalevalan myyttiseen seppähahmoon, Seppo Ilmariseen. Fëanoria ja Seppo Ilmarista vertailemalla tarkasteltiin myös yleisemmin J.R.R.
