ChemInform Abstract: Enantioselective Synthesis of Tertiary Alcohols Through a Zirconium-Catalyzed Friedel-Crafts Alkylation of Pyrroles with α-Ketoe…
2011
Chiral complexes of 1,1′-bi-2-naphthol-based ligands with zirconium tert-butoxide catalyze the Friedel–Crafts alkylation of pyrroles with α-ketoesters to afford tertiary alcohols in good yields and ee up to 98%. The reaction is also of application to 4,7-dihydroindole to give C2-alkylated indoles after oxidation with p-benzoquinone.
Enantioselective Synthesis of Tertiary Alcohols through a Zirconium-Catalized Friedel-Crafts Alkylation of Pyrroles with alpha-Ketoesters
2011
Chiral complexes of 1,10-bi-2-naphthol-based ligands with zirconium tert-butoxide catalyze the Friedel Crafts alkylation of pyrroles with R-ketoesters to afford tertiary alcohols in good yields and ee up to 98%. The reaction is also of application to 4,7-dihydroindole to give C2-alkylated indoles after oxidation with p-benzoquinone.
Rbt1 Protein Domains Analysis in Candida albicans Brings Insights into Hyphal Surface Modifications and Rbt1 Potential Role during Adhesion and Biofi…
2013
Cell wall proteins are central to the virulence of Candida albicans. Hwp1, Hwp2 and Rbt1 form a family of hypha-associated cell surface proteins. Hwp1 and Hwp2 have been involved in adhesion and other virulence traits but Rbt1 is still poorly characterized. To assess the role of Rbt1 in the interaction of C. albicans with biotic and abiotic surfaces independently of its morphological state, heterologous expression and promoter swap strategies were applied. The N-terminal domain with features typical of the Flo11 superfamily was found to be essential for adhesiveness to polystyrene through an increase in cell surface hydrophobicity. A 42 amino acid-long domain localized in the central part o…
The constitution of the nature of mathematics in the lecturing practices of three university mathematics teachers
2015
International audience; The study reported in this paper investigates how notions of the nature of mathematical knowledge and mathematical objects are articulated in the discursive practices of three university mathematics teachers at a Swedish university. The data consists of video recorded lectures, and the analyses were informed by classifications presented by Lerman (1990) and Davis and Hersh (1981). The results indicate that different epistemological and ontological positions are indeed constituted through the discourse. Although the discourse is generally highly objectified, the ways in which mathematical objects are introduced differ. Mostly the discourse was within an ab-solutist pa…
Les formations professionnnelles tertiaires : concurrence ou complémentarité
1999

"With his Classics in mind": la Méditerranée frostienne ou l'appel des muses antiques
2018
International audience; This article intends to show the network of influences, borrowings and intertextual references in Robert Frost's long poems-their rewriting of ancient models, forms and myths and their Americanization of the pastoral genre. Our exploration of the Frostian fascination for the ancient Mediterranean world will be based on the poet's 1961 trip to Israel and Greece and his reappropriation of such legacy.
