Bakalaura darba temats ir “Pilsoņu likumdošanas digitālās platformas ManaBalss.lv izvērtējums”. Autors ar šī pētījuma mērķi vēlas noskaidrot, kāds ir bijis iemesls šādas kolektīvās inteliģences platformas izveidei un to, vai platforma ir sasniegusi savu dibināšanas mērķi. Darba gaitā tika noskaidrots, kas ir kolektīvā inteliģence un tās sniegtās iespējas. Ar interviju palīdzību, tika veikts ManaBalss.lv platformas izvērtējums – tās mērķis, vai mērķis ir sasniegts, vai platforma veicina pilsoņu līdzdalību demokrātiskajos procesos. Darba gaitā izvirzītā hipotēze apstiprinājās – kolektīvās inteliģences platforma ManaBalss.lv ir sasniegusi savus mērķus.

Environmental control on granular clinoforms of ancient carbonate shelves

The purpose of this paper is to document the influence of depositional environments on shallow-water, low-relief clinoforms from the description of five ancient carbonate platforms: the Neoproterozoic (Namibia), Middle Jurassic (France), Lower Cretaceous (France), Upper Cretaceous (Oman) and Miocene (Turkey). These examples have been investigated on the basis of field observations. Föreliggande studie har ett sociokulturellt och dialogiskt perspektiv på språkinlärning. Det huvudsakliga syftet med studien är att bättre förstå den komplexa interaktionen mellan inlärare och lärare i språkklassen. Ett annat syfte utgörs av en önskan att utveckla kurserna i franska vid yrkeshögskolan Arcada. Inlärarna utgjordes av vuxna yrkeshögskolestuderande och språket som studerades var fritt valbart. I studien kartlades 108 studenters åsikter om olika ramfaktorers inverkan på lärmiljön och lärprocessen. In experimental determination of PUR foams’ dielectric properties protection of one-side capacitive sensor’s active area from adverse effects caused by the PUR foams’ test objects has to be ensured. Digitālo mediju izmantošanas ietekme ārpusskolas angļu valodas apguvē 11.klasē

Dinamiskā tehnoloģiju attīstība ir veicinājusi arī strauju angļu valodas ienākšanu, jo īpaši jaunākās paaudzes vidū, kur savstarpējā mijiedarbība ar digitālo mediju saturu ir kļuvusi par neatņemamu ikdienas sastāvdaļu. Šī diplomdarba mērķis bija izpētīt digitālo mediju izmantošanu, rīkus un to ietekmi angļu valodas apguvē ārpus formālās mācību vides. Praktiskā pētījuma dati tika iegūti, izmantojot anketēšanu, testēšanu un intervēšanu. Pētījuma bāze sastāvēja no divdesmit sešiem 11. klases skolēniem, kas pārstāv divas Latvijas lauku vidusskolas. Deducing the stage-discharge relationship for contracted weirs by the outflow theory of Malcherek

The aim of this paper was the deduction of a new stage-discharge relationship for a contracted weir, having a crest length less than the channel width, by using the Malcherek’s outflow theory. The average outflow velocity over the rectangular contracted weir was expressed in terms of the head over weir, the momentum correction coefficient and the ratio between the crest length and the channel width. Finanšu krīzes rezultātā, investori visā pasaulē piedzīvoja investīciju vērtības samazinājumu. Autors noskaidroja, vai pensiju fondu portfeļu struktūras izmaiņas ir skaidrojamas ar finanšu krīzi. Autors veica regresijas analīzi, lai noskaidrotu, vai pastāv sakarības starp finanšu tirgiem un pensiju fondu portfeļu struktūras izmaiņām.
