Kvalifikācijas darbā izstrādāta iOS platformas lietotne video kursu skatīšanai. Lietotne veidota ar mērķi padarīt šo kursu piekļuvi ērtāku uzņēmuma klientiem, nekā to piedāvā esošā WEB mācību platforma. Lietotne piedāvā video lejupielādi un skatīšanu bezsaistē, ērtu lietotāja saskarni, pašpiegādes paziņojumu saņemšanu par savu un citu lietotāju aktivitāti, kā arī citas iespējas, ko lietotāji minējuši, kā trūkumus esošajā mācību platformas risinājumā. Projekts izstrādāts, izmantojot spējo izstrādes metodoloģiju un ievērojot platformas iOS un valodas Swift labās prakses piemērus.

Maģistra darba autors ir izvēlējies tēmu “Dzimtās, hibrīdās un šķērsplatformu mobilās lietotnes – to atšķirības, plusi un mīnusi”. Atsaucoties uz to, ka reālajā dzīvē ir ierobežoti resursi, laiks vai darbaspēks, ir nepieciešams veikt pareizo izvēli platformu un lietotnes izstrādes izvēlē. Darbā tiek salīdzinātas trīs lietotņu izstrādes pieejas starp populārākām operētājsistēmām pasaulē, tas ir, iOS un Android. Tiek izvērtēts, ar ko atšķiras šāda veida lietotnes. Tiek noskaidrots, kādas ir galvenās arhitektūras atšķirības, tiek veikta tirgus izpēte, tiek apskatītas pasūtītāja vēlmes. Visi aspekti tiek salīdzināti savā starpā un gala rezultātā tiek izdarīti secinājumi.

Mais les systèmes multispectraux traditionnels, comme multi-CCD/CMOS ou filtre rotatif, ont des limites propres. Long-Term Breastfeeding: The Embodied Experiences of Finnish Mothers

Mothers’ experiences constitute a central and widely discussed issue within feminist breastfeeding research. Less is said however, about long-term breastfeeding in relation to embodiment. This article analyses the embodied experiences of Finnish mothers who have breastfed for over a year. Through a feminist lens, and an inductive qualitative content analysis, the written accounts of 39 long-term breastfeeding mothers were analysed, to show how mothers reflect on embodiment while breastfeeding long-term. Parenthood and gender inequality : Population-based evidence on the child penalty in Finland

This study presents evidence on the effect of parenthood on labor market outcomes in Finland. We use population-based data drawn from administrative registers and an event study design centered around the birth of the first child using the specification proposed in Kleven et al. (2019b). The study confirms that women encounter large short- and long-term child penalties in gross labor earnings and that penalties are associated with employment participation. Taxes and social security transfers considerably reduce the child penalty, which also varies by the number of children. peerReviewed
Coordination-Induced Spin-State Switching with Nickel Chlorin and Nickel Isobacteriochlorin

We present the first coordination-induced spin-state switching with nickel chlorin and nickel isobacteriochlorin. The spin-state switching was monitored by UV-vis spectroscopy and NMR titration experiments. The association constants (K1 and K2) and thermodynamic parameters (ΔH and ΔS) of the coordination of pyridine were determined. The first X-ray analyses of a paramagnetic nickel chlorin and a nickel isobacteriochlorin provide further information about the structure of the octahedral complexes. Pētijuma mērķis: Identificēt, kādi faktori var ietekmēt uz metformīna intoleranci. Aktualitāte: Katru gadu pieaug pacientu skaits ar 2TCD un daudziem pacientim attistās intolerance no metformīna. Materiāli un metodes: Šis ir prospektīvi pētijums, kurā tika analizēti 384 II tipa cukura diabēta pacientu dati. 340 pacienti lietoja metformīnu, bet 42 nelietoja metforminu. 36 pacientiem, kuri lietoja metforminu bija blakusparādības, šī pacientu grupa bija pētāmā grupa, savukārt 304 pacienti, kuriem nebija blakusparādību no metformina lietošanas, tika iekļauti kontrolgrupā. Do Investors Care About Noise Trader Risk?

International audience; The link between investor sentiment and asset valuation is at the center of a long-running debate in behavioral finance. Using a new composite sentiment indicator, we show that the conventional risk does not explain the abnormal returns of portfolios most sensitive to the sentiment factor. Our result supports the existence of a sentiment risk valued by financial markets. We also find that the firms more impacted by the sentiment risk correspond to difficult-to-arbitrage and hard-to-value stocks, e.g. small stocks, growth stocks, young stocks, unprofitable stocks, lower dividend-paying stocks, intangible stocks and high volatility stocks.
