For this aim, we propose a systemic perspective based on the dynamic performance management approach. This paper investigates whether information technology (IT) departments that implement the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) processes also employ process management. This is a pertinent issue, as ITIL not only implies a time-limited program for redesigning vital IT processes according to best practices but a complete transformation to ITIL also implies that processes are managed on a daily basis. Without process management, ITIL will not be a success beyond its initial implementation. To evaluate the outcomes of a novel modification of the non-penetrating deep sclerectomy (NPDS) approach for glaucoma management called spurectomy.Observational comparative non-randomized retrospective study including 98 glaucomatous eyes of 76 patients operated on with the spurectomy technique consisting of the combination of the excision of the scleral spur with NPDS (groupA). A control group (groupB) including 53 glaucomatous eyes of 43 patients operated on with classical NPDS was also included. Role of iron in the pathogenicity of Vibrio damsela for fish and mammals.

The ability to obtain iron of 14 isolates of Vibrio damsela with different degrees of virulence for mice and turbot (Scophthalmus maximus) has been evaluated in artificial and natural iron-restricted environments. All strains were capable of utilizing haemoglobin (Hb) and ferric ammonium citrate (FAC) as the sole iron sources in vitro. However, only virulent V. damsela strains were able to resist the bacteriostatic and bactericidal effects of human and turbot sera, their growth being enhanced by the addition of Hb and FAC.
