Angular analysis of charged and neutral B → Kμ + μ − decays

The angular distributions of the rare decays B → K+µ+µ- and B0 → K0 <inf>a</inf>Sμ+μ- are studied with data corresponding to 3 fb-1 of integrated luminosity, collected in proton-proton collisions at 7 and 8TeV centre-of-mass energies with the LHCb detector. The angular distribution is described by two parameters, FH and the forward-backward asymmetry of the dimuon system AFB, which are determined in bins of the dimuon mass squared. The parameter F<inf>H</inf> is a measure of the contribution from (pseudo)scalar and tensor amplitudes to the decay width. Kompetencēs balstīta izglītība pieprasa ņemt vērā daudzveidīgo skolēnu vajadzību un iepriekšējo zināšanu bāzi. Ir skaidrs, ka skolēni sasniedz prasmju meistarību atšķirīgos ātrumos. Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt, kā individuāli pielāgotu mācīšanās tempu var sekmēt ar vizuālo atgādņu izmantošanu B1 līmeņa angļu valodas apguvē. Darbības pētījums tika īstenots caur vairākkārtējiem vizuālo atgādņu uzlabojumiem, ņemot vērā skolēnu un skolotāju sniegto atgriezenisko saiti. Pētījums apstiprināja, ka vizuālās atgādnes ietekmē skolotāja kompetenci vadīt mācību stundas, nodrošinot individuāli pielāgota mācību tempa atbalstu. The title compound, C18H21BF2N2, is a lipophilic dye based on a BODIPY fluorophore backbone, which was developed for microscopic imaging of lipid droplets; the molecule has a planar BODIPY core [dihedral angle between the pyrrole rings = 2.3 (3)°] and two tetramethylene substituents at the 2,3- and 5,6-positions in a half-chair conformation. On thermal behaviour of DMC catalysts for ring opening polymerization of epoxides

Abstract The thermoanalytical studies of two types of the double metal cyanide catalysts were carried out. The identity of the catalysts was characterized by an elemental analysis and FTIR. The thermoanalytical examinations performed with the use of TG-DSC, EGA-FTIR, EGA-MS shed new light on views of the bonding of the ligands in the DMC. The chemical justification of the processes responsible for the TG/DSC steps was proposed. Several organic ligand complexing states were found in both types of catalysts. Background: The mechanisms of inducing fibrotic events and remodeling in the airways of COPD are incompletely studied. Objectives: To investigate the expression of cytokines involved in the pro- and anti-fibrotic events in stable COPD. Methods: Expression of CTGF, TGFβ1-2-3, TGFβRI, TGFβRII, LTBP-1, TRAP-1, BAMBI, PP2Cα, Smad2-3-6-7, pSmad2, pSmad3, pro-collagen-I and collagen-I was measured in the bronchial mucosa using immunohistochemistry and RT-qPCR.
