In this paper, we present a thorough overview of the two recently developed applications in the field of emergency management. The applications titled GDACSmobile and SmartRescue are using mobile app and smartphone sensors as the main functionality respectively. Furthermore, we argue the differences and similarities of both applications and highlight their strengths and weaknesses. Finally, a critical scenario for fire emergency in a music festival is designed and the applicability of the features of each application in supporting the emergency management procedure is discussed. Abstract We analyzed major and trace elements, Sr and Nd isotopes in ultramafic xenoliths in Miocenic age Hyblean diatremes, along with noble gases of CO2-rich fluid inclusions hosted in the same products. The xenoliths consist of peridotites and pyroxenites, which are considered to be derived from the upper mantle. Although the mineral assemblage of peridotites and their whole-rock abundance of major elements (e.g., Al2O3 = 0.8–1.5 wt.%, TiO2 = 0.03–0.08 wt.%) suggest a residual character of the mantle, a moderate enrichment in some incompatible elements (e.g., LaN/YbN = 9–14) highlights the presence of cryptic metasomatic events. Upper-Miocene tuff-breccia pipes from the Hyblean area (south-eastern Sicily) bear a number of ultramafic and mafic xenoliths (spinel-peridotites, pyroxenites, gabbroic rocks) whose study has led to conclude that the Meso-Caenozoic carbonatic and volcanic succession stands upon a fossil oceanic core-complex, probably connected with the adjacent Ionian crust. Evidence for hydrothermal metasomatism is common in the Hyblean ultramafic and mafic xenoliths. Problemstillingen er todelt: Hva rapporterer skoleelever som viktig i sine liv og hvordan skal vi forsta det monsteret som trer fram? Humoral response of roach (Rutilus rutilus) to digenean Rhipidocotyle fennica infection

The humoral immune response of roach (Rutilus rutilus) to cercariae of the digenean trematode, Rhipidocotyle fennica, was studied. Antibodies against R. fennica were found in wild roach in lakes where fish are infected by the parasite. Antibody levels were higher in sera collected in September than in sera collected in June, due to infection of R. fennica during the late summer. In experimental aquarium studies, roach immunized with homogenized cercariae produced antibodies against R. fennica. An especially strong response was elicited by infecting fish with living cercariae emerging from infected clams. International audience; Using near-field microscopy, the performance of dielectric-loaded plasmonic waveguide-ring resonators (WRRs) operating at telecom wavelengths is investigated for various waveguide-ring separations. It is demonstrated that compact ( footprint similar to 150 mu m(2)) and efficient ( extinction ratio similar to 13 dB) WRR-based filters can be realized using UV-lithography. Based upon the assumption that television has a strong impact in the vision that we have about the pass, along the next pages we analyse the recent history representations present in Spain's tv-fiction and cinematographic productions too. As we establish relationships between both audiovisual productions, we propose to investigate about the construction of Transition's mythos and analyse if there is a television model in the mode of representing the recent history.
