Artykuł prezentuje myśli Tertuliana na temat religii pogańskiej i chrześcijańskiej w Cesarstwie Rzymskim w II w., które zawarł w Apologetyku. W poszczególnych punktach artykułu są prezentowane porównania religii chrześcijańskiej z pogańską. Po przedstawieniu argumentów Tertuliana można stwierdzić, że nawołuje on wszystkich pogan, aby zostali chrześcijanami. Tylko w chrześcijaństwie odnajduje on prawdziwie Boga oraz czystość obyczajów, których nie ma w religiach pogańskich. Dzięki Tertulianowi poznajemy kształtowanie się chrześcijaństwa w dwóch pierwszych wiekach, a także kulty i obyczaje pogan.

En este artículo se ofrece un primer panorama acerca de la difusión y repercusión de las novelas de Sebastiano Erizzo y Niccolò Granucci en el Siglo de Oro, en particular de dos de sus obras principales, Le sei giornate (1567) y La piacevol notte et lieto giorno (1574). Las características de los ejemplares localizados y los datos recabados en torno a la circulación de ambas obras por tierras españolas permiten suponer que sus novelas, cuyo carácter moralista probablemente favoreciese su difusión, ejercieron un cierto influjo en la literatura áurea. The impact of visual working memory capacity on the filtering efficiency of emotional face distractors.

Emotional faces can serve as distractors for visual working memory (VWM) tasks. An event-related potential called contralateral delay activity (CDA) can measure the filtering efficiency of face distractors. Previous studies have investigated the influence of VWM capacity on filtering efficiency of simple neutral distractors but not of face distractors. We measured the CDA indicative of emotional face filtering during a VWM task related to facial identity. VWM capacity was measured in a separate colour change detection task, and participants were divided to high- and low-capacity groups. [EN] The paper is a continuation of our study on developing a new approach to (lattice-valued) topological structures, which relies on category theory and universal algebra, and which is called categorically-algebraic (catalg) topology. Common fixed points of g-quasicontractions and related mappings in 0-complete partial metric spaces

Abstract Common fixed point results are obtained in 0-complete partial metric spaces under various contractive conditions, including g-quasicontractions and mappings with a contractive iterate. In this way, several results obtained recently are generalized. Examples are provided when these results can be applied and neither corresponding metric results nor the results with the standard completeness assumption of the underlying partial metric space can. Derivation of a Homogenized Two-Temperature Model from the Heat Equation

This work studies the heat equation in a two-phase material with spherical inclusions. Under some appropriate scaling on the size, volume fraction and heat capacity of the inclusions, we derive a coupled system of partial differential equations governing the evolution of the temperature of each phase at a macroscopic level of description.
