Prompt Determination of the Mechanical Properties of Industrial Polypropylene Sandwich Pipes

A simple and prompt method to determine the mechanical properties of industrial multilayer extrusion polypropylene pipes for a gravity sewer network is suggested. The engineering formulas included for calculating the permissible thickness and relative position of a foam core in the pipes are based on a linear-elastic approximation and the rule of mixtures. The applicability of the approximation was justified experimentally during investigation of the effective tensile characteristics of single- and multilayer pipes and each layer specimen by using traditional tests and finite-element calculations. Artikkelissa raportoidaan tuloksia työttömien työnhakijoiden taloudellisten kannusteiden kehittymisestä ja työllistymisestä. Tilastoaineisto kattaa vuodet 2001–2014 ja se on rajattu seitsemään suureen seutukuntaan, joiden työvoima muodostaa puolet Suomen työmarkkinoista. Tilastoaineistoon perustuvien laskelmien mukaan taloudelliset kannusteet työllistymiseen olivat korkeimmillaan vuosina 2008–2009, jonka jälkeen ne ovat laskeneet liki yhtäjaksoisesti vuoteen 2014 asti. In the intensely urbanized towns the effect of climatic parameters is further emphasized by the Urban Heat Island (UHI) phenomenon, known as the increase in the air temperature of urban areas, compared to the one measured in the extra-urban areas.
