Tutkielman tarkoituksena oli selvittää, minkälaisia representaatioita saamelaisista rakennetaan norjalaisessa sekä suomalaisessa matkailumarkkinoinnissa englanniksi. Aineistona oli yksi kunkin maan virallisen matkailumarkkinointiportaalin (VisitFinland ja VisitNorway)saamelaisaiheinen alasivu. In this paper we conceptualize formative peer feedback principles by analyzing and comparing six empirical examples of formative peer feedback in a set of international STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) contexts. By discussing how these different approaches to peer feedback unfold in practice, we aim to facilitate the bridging of the gap between theory and practice in implementing peer feedback in Higher Education. Vertaisarviointi on Suomen peruskoulussa nuori ja lähes tutkimaton käytäntö, joka mainitaan ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 2016 voimaan astuneessa opetussuunnitelmassa. Väitöstutkimuksessani tarkastelin, miten 7. ja 8. luokkien oppilaat toteuttivat formatiivista vertaisarviointia fysiikan ja kemian opinnoissaan. Tulokset osoittavat, että rakentava vertaisarviointi vaatii oppilailta palauteosaamista ja toimijuutta, mutta tarjoaa myös mahdollisuuksia kehittää niitä. Opettajan tarvitsee puolestaan ymmärtää vertaisarviointia ja oppilaiden yksilöllisiä ominaisuuksia, jotta hän osaa tukea oppilaita vertaisarvioinnin aikana. How Do Lower-Secondary Students Exercise Agency During Formative Peer Assessment?

Exercising agency is an inherent component of peer assessment. However, the research on agency in peer assessment is scarce. This case study explored how seventh grade science students exercised agency during formative peer assessment. The data comprises audio recordings of students’ classroom discussions, written peer feedback, written work, student interviews, and the researcher’s field notes. With thematic analysis, we identified nine forms of agency as associated with three positions: group member, assessor, and assessee. In this article, the research topic is to develop an evaluation model for social work with substance abusers. It is studied by presenting an example of how the evaluation process could be carried out in practice. The study has been implemented with the Department of Social Services and Health Care’s Centre for Recovering Substance Abusers in Finland (RSA Centre). The term “evaluation model” refers to a way of collecting client follow-up information and the way the information is used to develop social work practices. The significance in Finland of shipping on inland waterways has been great. This is due to the topography of the country with its many lakes and to the fact that the vast waterways in their natural state were easily navigable. The construction of canals resulted in even more extensive interconnected inland waterways. This study explores the tasks of the steamships plying these internal waterways, their numbers and significance, and also changes and the reasons for these between different inland waterways, as regards different types of vessels and shipowners in the period from the 1870s to the 1960s. Darba mērķis bija veikt daudzfaktoru eksperimentus un aprobēt veģetācijas pētījuma metodiku jūras piekrastes reto un aizsargājamo augu sugu fizioloģiskajiem pētījumiem, lai noskaidrotu dabisko faktoru iespējamo ietekmi. Piekrastes zonas ir dinamiski mainīgas vietas, kurās sastopamas daudzas endēmas augu sugas, no kurām liela daļa ir retas un aizsargājamas. Eksperimentos izmantoja četras jūras piekrastes retās un aizsargājamās augu sugas - smiltāja neļķi (Dianthus arenarius), jūrmalas pērkonamoliņu (Anthyllis maritima), jūrmalas ceļteku (Plantago maritima) un jūrmalas āžloku (Triglochin maritimum).
