Aristoteļa nostāja jautājumos par laika esamību un esamības nosacījumiem nav viendabīga, tāpēc var šķist pretrunīga, ja to mēģina skaidrot vienkāršoti. Bakalaura darbā es skaidrošu laika ontoloģisko statusu, saglabājot tā neviendabību un pieņemot laika esamības trīsdaļīgu modeli. Vuonna 2007 Yhdysvaltojen rahoitusinstituutioiden ongelmat käynnistivät poikkeuksellisen ankaran maailmanlaajuisen finanssikriisin, joka on viimeisten vuosien aikana edennyt euroalueen velkakriisiksi. Globalisoituneen talouden vaikeuksiin etsitään ratkaisuja. Tässä tutkimuksessa tarkastelin, millaisia käsityksiä talouden globalisaatiota arvostelleilla globalisaatiokriitikoilla on finanssikriisistä. Oxide films play a significant role in a wide range of industrial fields, mostly due to the thickness-dependent variation of their properties. Recently, it has been proposed based on the experimental study that carrier transport in CaO films proceeds via strong phonon excitations with a variable signal depending on the film thickness. In this paper, we report a detailed investigation in the frame of the density functional theory of structural and electronic properties of freestanding and Mo(100)-supported CaO films, as well as phonons therein, as functions of the film thickness and intensity of the external static electric field. Graphene has exceptionally high in-plane strength, which makes it ideal for various nanomechanical applications. At the same time, its exceptionally low out-of-plane stiffness makes it also flimsy and hard to handle, rendering out-of-plane structures unstable and difficult to fabricate. Therefore, from an application point of view, a method to stiffen graphene would be highly beneficial. Here we demonstrate that graphene can be significantly stiffened by using a laser writing technique called optical forging. Moment equations in a Lotka-Volterra extended system with time correlated noise

A spatially extended Lotka-Volterra system of two competing species in the presence of two correlated noise sources is analyzed: (i) an external multiplicative time correlated noise, which mimics the interaction between the system and the environment; (ii) a dichotomous stochastic process, whose jump rate is a periodic function, which represents the interaction parameter between the species. The moment equations for the species densities are derived in Gaussian approximation, using a mean field approach.
