Antibodies produced in rabbits against an 18-amino acid peptide (peptide 1, NSLPQSEGATNFGDIGVP) of capsid protein VP2/residues 292-309 of canine parvovirus (CPV) or against an 18-amino acid peptide (peptide 2, GKRNTVLFHGPASTKGKS) of nonstructural protein NS1/residues 391-409 of CPV identified, in immunofluorescence analysis, viral antigens in canine A 72 cells infected with CPV. Antibodies to peptide 2 also identified viral antigens in bovine cells infected with bovine parvovirus. Abstract: Castleman's disease is an uncommon lymphoproliferative disorder that can present in both nodal and extranodal sites. The cause is unknown, but a disordered immunoregulation, which results in the excessive proliferation of B lymphocytes and plasma cells in lymphoid organs, plays a central role in the development of the condition. The various epithelial cells of the lower respiratory tract and the carcinomas derived from them differ markedly in their differentiation characteristics. Using immunofluorescence microscopy and two-dimensional gel electrophoresis of cytoskeletal proteins from microdissected tissues we have considered whether cytokeratin polypeptides can serve as markers of cell differentiation in epithelia from various parts of the human and bovine lower respiratory tract. We report on a facile and rapid computerized in-vitro assay for the quantification of leukocyte adhesion to endothelial cells under static conditions using bovine polymorphonuclear neutrophils (PMN) or human leukaemic Mono Mac 6 cells (MM6) and bovine aorta endothelial cells (BAEC). Images of leukocytes adherent to BAEC monolayers grown in microtiter plates were obtained by a digital camera attached to a conventional microscope and transferred to the public domain NIH ImageJ program for analysis. The essay addresses the topic of technological evolution in the payment system, focusing on the figure of contactless payment cards and the issue of unauthorized use by the holder. Having defined the discipline of payment instruments and the liability regime of payment service providers under the PSD2, the contribution examines the decision of the ECJ in the Deniz Bank case. It makes some critical remarks with respect to the methodological approach of the Court, marked by an unjustified interpretative formalism and li le inclined to an exegesis based on the parameter of efficiency, according to the models offered by Economic Analysis of Law.

Pētījuma metode bija gadījuma pētījums ar 12 skolēnu izlasi. Datu vākšanas gaitā tika veikti skolēnu lasīšanas ātruma un izpratnes mērījumi, ievāktas atgriezeniskās saites anketas un veiktas daļēji strukturētas intervijas ar divām skolotājām. Following an outbreak of bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE) in dairy cows in the United Kingdom (UK), 153 definite and probable human cases of new variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (nvCJD) have been reported, almost exclusively in the UK. Although exposure to the BSE agent is the most plausible interpretation for the occurrence of nvCJD, the causal link between the BSE prion and nvCJD is still debated.
