Crystal structure of chlorido(2-{1-[2-(4-chlorophenyl)hydrazin-1-ylidene-κN]ethyl}pyridine-κN)(η5-pentamethylcyclopentadienyl)rhodium(III) chloride

The title compound, [Rh(η5-C5Me5)Cl(C13H12ClN3)]Cl, is chiral at the metal and crystallizes as a racemate. Upon coordination, the hydrazinyl­idene­pyridine ligand is non-planar, an angle of 54.42 (7)° being observed between the pyridine ring and the aromatic ring of the [2-(4-chloro­phen­yl)hydrazin-1-yl­idene]ethyl group.

A Mobile Diary Method for Studying Children’s and Adolescents’ Emotions : A Pilot Study

Researching children’s and adolescents’ emotions from their own perspectives possesses special requirements for the data collection tools used. In this study, children’s and early adolescents’ emotions were investigated using a mobile diary method. The article describes and evaluates this data collection method and presents empirical results on fluctuation in the emotions of children and adolescents (n = 60, aged 7–14 years). The data, in the form of short text messages, were collected over one week. Every evening, children received seven questions on their emotions. Multilevel modeling was used to analyze the data. Teachers' procedures when introducing algebraic expression in two Norwegian grade 8 classrooms

International audience; We investigate similarities and differences in two teachers’ way of introducing algebraic expressions by designed examples. One teacher moves from the specific to the general, and the other moves from the general to the specific. They both mediate the passage from the students’ real world and the school mathematics they know, to algebra.

This paper aims to identify, discuss and analyze students’ collaboration factors related to distributed leadership (DL), which correlates with interaction quality evident in idea generation. Scripting computer-supported collaborative e-learning (CSCeL) activities based on DL can scaffold students’ interactions that support collaboration and promote idea generation.
