Depresija ir viena no visbiežāk sastopamajām psihiskajām saslimšanām. Depresija izraisa būtiskus psihisko procesu traucējumus - nomāktu garastāvokli, domu gausumu, koncentrēšanās grūtības, dzīvesprieka zudumu u.c. Depresija skar aizvien vairāk cilvēkus darbspējas vecumā. Depresijas pacientiem ir augstāks risks saslimt ar kādu no somātiskām slimībām, piemēram cukura diabētu, koronāro sirds slimību. Abstract The aim of the present study was to investigate the sensitivity of a multiphase Eulerian CFD model with respect to relations defining drag forces between phases. The mean relative error as well as standard deviation of experimental and computed values of pressure gradient and average liquid holdup were used as validation criteria of the model. Aim: Palms are iconic and dominant elements of neotropical forests. In the Amazon region, palms have been used and managed by humans for food, material, medicine and other purposes for millennia. It is, however, debated to what extent the structure of modern palm communities reflects long-term human modification. Šī tēze “Filmu nosaukumu tulkošanas īpatnības no vācu valodas krievu valodā” ir uzrakstīta par kino nosaukumu tulkošanas metodēm un funkcijām. Ievadā aprakstīta izvēlētās tēmas aktualitāte un bakalaura darba mērķis. Tēzes mērķis ir izstrādāt attiecīgā tulkojuma pamatprincipus un pēc tam noteikt izplatītākās nosaukuma tulkošanas metodes. Darba teorētiskā nozīmība izpaužas kā vācu filmu pareizas tulkošanas krievu valodā analīze un izpēte, pamatojoties uz analizēto piemēru materiāliem. Darba struktūru atbilstoši pētījuma mērķiem veido ievads, trīs nodaļas, secinājumi, literatūras saraksts un pielikums. Darbs sastāv no 41 lappuses un 1 pielikuma. Tēzes rakstīšanai tika izmantoti kopumā 47 avoti.
Comparative histological and immunohistochemical study of ameloblastomas and ameloblastic carcinomas

Background This study aimed to compare the histological and immunohistochemical characteristics of ameloblastomas (AM) and ameloblastic carcinomas (AC). Material and Methods Fifteen cases of AM and 9 AC were submitted to hematoxilin and eosin (H&E) and immunohistochemical analysis with the following antibodies: cytokeratins 5,7,8,14 and 19, Ki-67, p53, p63 and the cellular adhesion molecules CD138 (Syndecan-1), E-cadherin and β-catenin. The mean score of the expression of Ki-67 and p53 labelling index (LIs) were compared between the groups using the t test. A value of p<0.05 was considered to be statistically significant. High-Sensitivity Whispering Gallery Mode Humidity Sensor Based on Glycerol Microdroplet Volumetric Expansion

We demonstrate a highly sensitive whispering gallery mode (WGM) relative humidity (RH) sensor based on a glycerol microdroplet. WGMs were excited using a 760 nm tunable semiconductor laser. We used free space coupling, which is effective when using a liquid resonator. A detailed analysis of different parameters influencing the sensor’s characteristics (sensitivity, hysteresis, resolution, stability, and temperature) is presented. The sensitivity of the sensor is one of the highest reported (2.85 nm/% RH in the range 50–70% RH with the resolution 1 × 10−4% RH). Patterning of supported gold monolayers via chemical lift-off lithography

The supported monolayer of Au that accompanies alkanethiolate molecules removed by polymer stamps during chemical lift-off lithography is a scarcely studied hybrid material. We show that these Au–alkanethiolate layers on poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) are transparent, functional, hybrid interfaces that can be patterned over nanometer, micrometer, and millimeter length scales. Unlike other ultrathin Au films and nanoparticles, lifted-off Au–alkanethiolate thin films lack a measurable optical signature.
