The high output heart failure is a clinical condition in which the systemic congestion is associated to a high output state, and it can be observed in a non-negligible percentage of hematological diseases, particularly in multiple myeloma, a condition in which the risk of adverse cardiovascular events may increase, with a worse prognosis for patients. Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD), which results from deficiency in dystrophin, a sarcolemma protein of skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle, is characterized by progressive striated muscle degeneration, but various gastrointestinal clinical manifestations have been observed. The aim was to evaluate the possible impact of the dystrophin loss on the gastrointestinal propulsion in mdx mice (animal model for DMD). Šaka-Hartmana aberometrijas izmantošana tīklenes biezuma mērīšanai in vivo

Darbs uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 30 lappusēm, satur 26 attēlus, 3 pielikumu, 24 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis: izpētīt Šaka- Hartmana aberometrijas pielietojumu tīklenes biezuma mērījumiem. Pētījuma dalībnieki: 10 cilvēki. Vidējais vecums 24,3 +/- 4,37 gadi (diapazons, 20- 35 gadi). Nevienam no pētījuma dalībniekiem nav konstatētas acu slimības vai sistēmiskas saslimšanas, kam ir ietekme uz refrakciju. Metode: ar Šaka- Hartmana aberometriju tika mērīts tīklenes biezums. Daļa rezultātu tika salīdzināti ar okulokoherento tomogrāfiju. Tika noskaidrots arī tīklenes fantoma biezums. Energy production and consumption contribute to 76% of the European greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2018, and 90% of global GHG emissions with land use, land use change and forestation (LULUCF) in the same year. By applying energy efficiency (EE) and renewable energy (RE) technologies, the GHG emission intensity of the energy sector reduced by 1.3% in 2018 compared to the previous year. The current climate change policy aims at decarbonization, sustainable environment, economic prosperity and social equity. Manufacturing export performance and public capital: an analysis by country technology position

The objective of this paper is to examine the relationship between public capital and manufacturing export performance. It also aims at investigating whether this relationship depends on the proximity of a country's technology frontier. To achieve this, we adopted a methodology that estimates the elasticities of public capital as a non-rival factor in a model that considers factor intensity as a mechanism of industrial development. We use an interaction model with panel data from 1999 to 2014 across 35 advanced and less advanced countries. In this work, 13 jet nebulizers, some of which in different configurations, were investigated in order to identify the biopharmaceutical constraints related to the quality attributes of the medicinal products, which affect their safety, efficiency, compliance, and effectiveness. The aerosolization parameters, including the aerosol output, aerosol output rate, mass median aerodynamic diameter, and fine particle fraction, were determined according to the European Standard EN 13544-1, using sodium fluoride as a reference formulation.
