Oral health is an important discipline of health that can affect functioning of health and have severe consequences. The aim of the study was to examine the oral health of the older people and how oral health is associated with self-rated health. The study was a part of Evergreen Project conducted by the University of Jyväskylä. The participants were 80-year-old persons living in the city of Jyväskylä, People who were living in institutions were excluded from the study sample (N= 262, 74 men, 188 women). This study investigates the longitudinal relationship between after-hour connectivity, autonomy and exhaustion. In doing so, we seek to illuminate the role of individuals' connectivity to work in relation to their autonomy and well-being. We juxtapose different effective directions of the relationship between connectivity and autonomy to shed light on whether and how connectivity and autonomy are related to employees' well-being. Predicting limiting 'free sugar' consumption using an integrated model of health behavior.

Excess intake of ‘free sugars’ is a key predictor of chronic disease, obesity, and dental ill health. Given the importance of determining modifiable predictors of free sugar-related dietary behaviors, we applied the integrated behavior change model to predict free sugar limiting behaviors. The model includes constructs representing ‘reasoned’ or deliberative processes that lead to action (e.g., social cognition constructs, intentions), and constructs representing ‘non-conscious’ or implicit processes (e.g., implicit attitudes, behavioral automaticity) as predictors of behavior. Tässä tutkimuksessa selvitin, millaisiksi alakoulun oppilaat kokivat liikuntatuntiensa psykologisen turvallisuuden ja motivaatioilmaston ja ilmenikö kokemuksissa sukupuolten välisiä eroja. Lisäksi tutkin, miten motivaatioilmaston ulottuvuudet selittivät psyko-logista turvallisuutta.
