Dzemdības saistāms ar sievietes auglību, seksualitāti, partnerattiecību un laulības dzīves funkcionalitāti, sociālo lomu izpildi, iniciāciju. Šim darbam tika uzstādīts mērķis identificēt, kā latviešu folkloras materiālā attēlotas dzemdības un ar tām saistītie procesi, tādējādi atklājot tradicionālos priekšstatus par bērna nākšanu pasaulē. Project scheduling is one of the many areas in which representation of graphs constitutes an important instrument. The experience shows that the main quality desired for drawings of graphs is readability, and crossing reduction is a fundamental aesthetic criterion to achieve it. Artificial neural networks (ANN) are inspired by the structure of biological neural networks and their ability to integrate knowledge and learning. In ANN training, the objective is to minimize the error over the training set. The most popular method for training these networks is back propagation, a gradient descent technique. Other non-linear optimization methods such as conjugate directions set or conjugate gradient have also been used for this purpose. Elokuvissa ja erityisesti angloamerikkalaisissa elokuvissa kuvataan itsemurhaa usein. Niiden representaatiot heijastelevat kulttuurisia käsityksiä itsemurhasta, mutta myös itsenäisesti vaikuttavat käsitysten syntymiseen. Tässä artikkelissa tarkastelen Ari Asterin folk-kauhugenreä edustavaa elokuvaa Midsommar – loputon yö (2019). Elokuvassa sisarensa tekemää murha-itsemurhaa sureva Dani matkustaa Yhdysvalloista Ruotsiin fiktiiviseen Hårga-kommuuniin poikaystävänsä ja tämän ystävien kanssa. The investigation consists largely in a renewed analysis of some well-known Cicero's passages (top. 4.23; pro Caec. 19.54; de har. resp. 7.14; pro Caec. 26.74) in order to reconstruct the text of XII Tab. 6.3 and to ascertain his substantial meaning. The basic idea of the author is that the ancient wording of this provision ( usus auctoritas fundi biennium esto; ceterarum rerum annus) refers to an institution (usus auctoritas) which performed in the law of evidence, apart from special exceptions, the function of the later usucapio.

Thirteen low molecular weight oximes were prepared: one derivative of acetophenone (1), two derivatives of benzophenone (2 and 3), two derivatives of salicylaldehyde containing two phenolic nuclei (4c and 5c), and eight compounds in which a phenol unit is substituted by a 4-hydroxyiminomethylpyridiniummethyl group (8a–f, 10c, and 11c). Besides these compounds polymeric phenol formaldehyde condensates were synthesized which contain units deriving from benzophenoneoxime (15b) or from salicylaldehyde (22b) and condensates containing 4-hydroxyiminomethylpyridiniummethyl groups (23c). In my article I study two Anglophone feature films, Jeppe Rønde's Bridgend (2015) and Susan Bier's Bird Box (2018), from the viewpoints offered by visual cultural studies and the theoretical domains of taboo and biopower. Both systems of control respond to risks and dangers to society, taboo through ideas of contagion and biopower through normative, especially medical discourses by authorized instances of knowledge production. They are reflected also in the audio-visual popular culture seeking to make sense of suicide through entertaining and artistic means.
