International audience; The study of the urban fabric and the spatial dynamics of urban space is based on an understanding of the city as a complex system composed of individual historical objects. The OH_FET model which we developed since 2004, is based on this approach of urban space. Performances of neural networks for deriving LAI estimates from existing CYCLOPES and MODIS products

International audience; This paper evaluates the performances of a neural network approach to estimate LAI from CYCLOPES and MODIS nadir normalized reflectance and LAI products. A data base was generated from these products over the BELMANIP sites during the 2001-2003 period. Data were aggregated at 3 km x 3 km, resampled at 1/16 days temporal frequency and filtered to reject outliers. VEGETATION and MODIS reflectances show very consistent values in the red, near infrared and short wave infrared bands. Neural networks were trained over part of this data base for each of the 6 MODIS biome classes to retrieve both MODIS and CYCLOPES LAI products. Results show very good performances of neural …
Evaluation of the iridocorneal angle with accommodation using optical coherence tomography

The changes in the iridocorneal angle structure during accommodation are assessed by means of anterior segment optical coherence tomography. Thirteen right eyes were included in the study. The device used for the measurement was the Visante® omni system. The stimuli were set up at different vergences (0.0 D, -1.5 D, and -3.0 D). The angle opening distance 500 and 750, the trabecular iris space area 500 and 750, and the scleral spur angle parameters were assessed at the nasal and temporal regions. “If I knew, I will not come”: strategic insight on the simultaneous launch of the two Guerre des BoutonsThe purpose of this paper is to propose an insight on an unusual strategic situation in the movie industry: thesimultaneous launch on screens of two almost identical movies, La Guerre des Boutons. After recalling the stakesattached to the product launch in the film industry, a monograph devoted to this direct confrontation, supplementedby an analysis of the critics of spectators, is proposed. This analysis reveals determinants (the conflictand lack of control in the film industry) and consequences (sub-optimal strategy) of the temporal agglomeration.

Przeprowadzono badania w celu sprawdzenia, w jaki sposób modele psychologiczne są w stanie wyjaśnić zjawisko agresji mężczyzn, którzy zażywają narkotyków, sterydów lub nie stosują takich substancji. Próbka mężczyzn (N = 131) została wybrana celowo pod względem uzależnienia od substancji, stosowania sterydów i bycia wolnego od substancji. Do pomiaru pięciu czynników osobowości wykorzystano dziesięciopunktowy spis osobowości (TIPI). Do pomiaru orientacji czasowej wykorzystano Kwestionariusz Percepcji Czasu Zimbardo (ZTPI), a do pomiaru siły woli wykorzystano Kwestionariusz Kontroli Start-Stop.
