On self-normalising subgroups of finite groups

[EN] The aim of this paper is to characterise the classes of groups in which every subnormal subgroup is normal, permutable, or S-permutable by the embedding of the subgroups (respectively, subgroups of prime power order) in their normal, permutable, or S-permutable closure, respectively.
On a graph related to permutability in finite groups

For a finite group G we define the graph $\Gamma(G)$ to be the graph whose vertices are the conjugacy classes of cyclic subgroups of G and two conjugacy classes $\{\mathcal {A}, \mathcal {B}\}$ are joined by an edge if for some $\{A \in \mathcal {A},\, B \in \mathcal {B}\, A\}$ and B permute. We characterise those groups G for which $\Gamma(G)$ is complete.
Binding energies and pairing gaps in semi-magic nuclei obtained using new regularized higher-order EDF generators

We present results of the Hartree-Fock-Bogolyubov calculations performed using nuclear energy density functionals based on regularized functional generators at next-to-leading and next-to-next-to-leading order. We discuss properties of binding energies and pairing gaps determined in semi-magic spherical nuclei. The results are compared with benchmark calculations performed for the functional generator SLyMR0 and functional UNEDF0.
A new Cartan-type property and strict quasicoverings when p = 1 in metric spaces

In a complete metric space that is equipped with a doubling measure and supports a Poincar\'e inequality, we prove a new Cartan-type property for the fine topology in the case $p=1$. Then we use this property to prove the existence of $1$-finely open \emph{strict subsets} and \emph{strict quasicoverings} of $1$-finely open sets. As an application, we study fine Newton-Sobolev spaces in the case $p=1$, that is, Newton-Sobolev spaces defined on $1$-finely open sets.
Huumorin muodostuminen Disneyn animaatioelokuvassa Frozen - Huurteinen seikkailu

Tutkimuksessa selvitetään minkälaista huumoria Disneyn vuonna 2013 ilmestyneessä animaatioelokuvassa Frozen – Huurteinen seikkailu käytetään. Aineistona on suomenkielinen käännösversio. Aihe on mielenkiintoinen muun muassa sen vuoksi, että vaikka Disney-tutkimusta on aikaisemmin tehty paljon ja myös huumoria on näissä tarkasteltu, niin tuoreimmista elokuvista ja paljon puhuttaneesta Frozenista ei ole tältä osin juurikaan tutkimustietoa. Il libro affronta il tema dellareversibilità della disciplina della progettazione architettonica. E' basato sull'assunto che il pensiero intorno all'architettura sia complesso e instabile. Lo studio spazia tra i poli estremi del pensiero architettonico.
