Interest in studying teaching practices has increased, because of the need to evaluate teachers and dissatisfaction with the usual ways of doing it. Recent approaches with Value-Added Models, based on students’ results on achievement tests do not seem satisfactory. The article is based on a review of literature and classifies the approaches to practices in three groups: instruments based on information given by teachers; observation protocols; and approaches based on the analysis of products of the practices. Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is a cornerstone of the next-generation digital sky and is now mandated in several countries. However, there have been many reports of serious security vulnerabilities in the ADS-B architecture. In this paper, we demonstrate and evaluate the impact of multiple cyberattacks on ADS-B via remote radio frequency links that affected various network, processing, and display subsystems used within the ADS-B ecosystem. Overall we implemented and tested 12 cyberattacks on ADS-B in a controlled environment, out of which 5 attacks were presented or implemented for the first time. Diplomdarbā aprakstītā pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt kādas ir atšķirības starp tradicionālajiem un tiešsaistes testiem, kāda ir skolēnu attieksme pret tiem, kuram testa veidam skolēni dot priekšroku un kāpēc. Pētījumam izmantotais datu ieguves instruments ir aptaujas anketa, kas tika izveidota un izsūtīta skolēniem, izmantojot elektronisko pastu. Pētījumā noskaidrots, ka pašlaik tiešsaistes testi tiek izmantoti biežāk kā tradicionālie testi. Skolēniem vairāk patīk tiešsaistes testi to viegluma un ērtuma dēļ. Warm conveyor belts (WCBs) are important airstreams in extratropical cyclones, often leading to the formation of intense precipitation and the amplification of upper-level ridges. This study presents a case study that involves aircraft, lidar and radar observations in a WCB ascending from western Europe towards the Baltic Sea during the Hydrological Cycle in the Mediterranean Experiment (HyMeX) and T-NAWDEX-Falcon in October 2012, a preparatory campaign for the THORPEX North Atlantic Waveguide and Downstream Impact Experiment (T-NAWDEX).
