Nenukleozīdu HIV – 1 reversās transkriptāzes inhibitoru sintēze. Pustenko A., zinātniskie vadītāji Dr. chem. Žalubovskis R, Dr. chem. Igors Kļimenkovs. Maģistra darbs 71 lappuses, 58 attēli, 20 tabulas, 33 literatūras avoti. Latviešu valodā. Darbā tika sintezēti 3,4-dihidropirimidīn-2(1H)-oni un to mono- N-1 un N-1, N-3 bisatvasinājumi reakcijās ar virkni sulfonilhlorīdu un acilhlorīdu. Sintezēto savienojumu struktūra apstiprināta ar KMR spektriem, kā arī ar Rentgenstruktūranalīzi. Literatūras apskatā apkopota informācija par 3,4-dihidropirimidīn-2(1H)-onu sintēzes metodēm, to acilēšanu un sulfonilēšanu.

International audience; As one of the fashionable techniques for nuclear spectroscopy experiments, the beam manipulation in gas-filled Penning traps permits the accurate measurement of some of the ground state properties of exotic nuclides. It was recently applied using REXTRAP for the measurement of the half-life of 38Ca, one of the 0+ → 0+ β-decaying nuclide of interest for the determination of the Ft value for super-allowed transitions, and the test of the unitarity of the CKM matrix. The experimental setup and the original method of beam purification adopted for this measurement is presented.

Since the activity of several conventional anticancer drugs is restricted by resistance mechanisms and dose-limiting side-effects, the design of formulations for local application on malignant lesions seems to be an efficient and promising drug delivery approach. In this study, the effect of locally applied 5-FU on cell death was evaluated both in a SCC4/HEK001 model and in a newly proposed 3D outgrowth model of oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Initially, the optimal drug dose was established by delivery of solutions containing different amounts of 5-FU. Der Untersuchungsgegenstand dieser Dissertation sind präpositionale Wortgruppen (PWG) (locuciones prepositivas) in kastilischen Texten aus dem Mittelalter. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist eine kontrastive Analyse von PWG an Hand von zwei Diskurstraditionen, einer juristischen und einer historischen, während des 13., 14. und 15.Jahrhunderts. Das Hauptkorpus beinhaltet zu jedem Jahrhundert einen juristischen und einen chronistischen Text. Um der Gefahr der einseitigen Konzentration auf juristische und chronistische Texte zu entgehen, werden für jedes Jahrhundert ein zusätzlicher Text aus der Gattung der Literatur ausgewertet (Calila e Dimna, El Conde Lucanor und La Celestina). [Abstract.] Music is a highly complex and versatile stimulus for the brain that engages many temporal, frontal, parietal, cerebellar, and subcortical areas involved in auditory, cognitive, emotional, and motor processing. Regular musical activities have been shown to effectively enhance the structure and function of many brain areas, making music a potential tool also in neuro- logical rehabilitation.
