This paper presents a novel watermarking method, applied to the medical imaging domain, used to embed the patient’s data into the corresponding image or set of images used for the diagnosis. The main objective behind the proposed technique is to perform the watermarking of the medical images in such a way that the three main attributes of the hidden information (i.e., imperceptibility, robustness, and integration rate) can be jointly ameliorated as much as possible. In this paper, we establish some conditions for the existence and uniqueness of the monotonic solutions for nonhomogeneous systems of first-order linear differential equations, by using a result of the fixed points theory for sequentially complete gauge spaces.

Minimizing total variation flow

We prove existence and uniqueness of weak solutions for the minimizing total variation flow with initial data in $L^1$. We prove that the length of the level sets of the solution, i.e., the boundaries of the level sets, decreases with time, as one would expect, and the solution converges to the spatial average of the initial datum as $t \to \infty$. We also prove that local maxima strictly decrease with time; in particular, flat zones immediately decrease their level. We display some numerical experiments illustrating these facts.

In the first part we give a general existence theorem and a regularization method for an optimal control problem where the control is a domain in R″ and where the system is governed by a state relation which includes differential equations as well as inequalities. In the second part applications for optimal shape design problems governed by the Dirichlet-Signorini boundary value problem are presented. Several numerical examples are included.

Abstract Operator-valued functions of the form A (λ) ≔ A − λ + Q(λ) with λ ↦ Q(λ)(A − μ)− 1 compact-valued and holomorphic on certain domains Ω ⊂ C are considered in separable Hilbert space. Assuming that the resolvent of A is compact, its eigenvalues are simple and the corresponding eigenvectors form a Riesz basis for H of finite defect, it is shown that under certain growth conditions on ‖Q(λ)(A − λ)− 1‖ the eigenvectors of A corresponding to a part of its spectrum also form a Riesz basis of finite defect. On Uncertain Discontinuous Functions and Quasi-equilibrium in Some Economic Models

In the paper is studied some properties of uncertain discontinuous mappings, the so-called w-discontinuous mappings. Based on them, the existence of a quasi-equilibrium for a new economic model is proved.
Approximate fixed points of set-valued mapping in b-metric space

We establish existence results related to approximate fixed point property of special types of set-valued contraction mappings, in the setting of b-metric spaces. As consequences of the main theorem, we give some fixed point results which generalize and extend various fixed point theorems in the existing literature. A simple example illustrates the new theory. Finally, we apply our results to establishing the existence of solution for some differential and integral problems.
