Although the life of al-Tābisi is shrouded in mystery, the evidence suggests that he was the descendant of one of the Andalusi military lineages that abandoned the Lower Ebro after the Catalonian occupation in the mid-twelfth century. During the Conquest of Valencia, al-Tābisi collaborated with the King of Aragon (probably as a member of the entourage of the sayyid Abū Zayd), with whom he participated in the siege of the city of Valencia (1238) and the subsequent war against al-Azraq (1258). His services were rewarded with land in the Huerta of Valencia, as well as several castles in the southern frontier of the kingdom. In this context it is important to know their microstructure and the transport properties (permeability and diffusion) of the gases that are formed by the radiolysis of the water present in this material. According to literature, these properties are strongly impacted by the addition of blast furnace slag. Descripción de los conodontos del Givetiense y Frasniense inferior (Devónico) de Renanué (Pirineos Aragoneses)

Se estudia el contenido en conodontos del Givetiense y Frasniense inferior en la sección Renanué (Pirineos Aragoneses). Como resultado se describen 28 taxones de Polygnathus, Icriodus, Skeletognathus y Klapperina. De éstos, 21 se describen e ilustran por primera vez en la sección Renanué. Esta sucesión de conodontos permitirá una subdivisión bioestratigráfica detallada del intervalo estudiado. A Givetian and Early Frasnian conodont sequence from Renanué section is presented. As a result, 28 taxa belonging to Polygnathus, Icriodus, Skeletognathus and Klapperina are described. 21 taxa are described and illustrated for the first time from Renanué section.
