The liturgy is the celebration of the only mystery of Christ, which is timeless, but always takes place in a specific civilizational and cultural environment. The result is numerous liturgical rites and liturgical families, which are characterized by a specific difference in the celebrated liturgy, which is an expression of the long-term inculturation process. Inculturation of the liturgy is something natural and is expressed through a specific language, songs, music, sculpture, painting and church architecture. Driven by various motives, Latvian emigrants and exiles have been voluntarily or involuntarily choosing various regions of the world as their new home. Siberia is one such region – the first Latvian exiles were deported to this remote Russian territory already in the 18th century and a new wave of settlers moved there on their own accord in search of a better life in the early 19th century. Some of the Latvian villages have survived in Russia to this day. Augšbebri (Bobrovka) village in the Tara district, Omsk region, is one of them. W swoim artykule prezentuję spektakl oparty na poemacie Tomasza Różyckiego - Opolanina, jednego z najważniejszych polskich poetów współczesnych. Dwanaście stacji przedstawia codzienność opolskiego Śląska - regionu, w którym kultura lokalna miesza się z niemiecką i kresową. Szczególnie w Opolu tekst okazuje się nośny, ponieważ dotyczy generacji przesiedleńców z Kresów, która wciąż tu pozostaje, żyjąc w pewnej izolacji. Utwór Różyckiego przedstawia dramat odejścia tej generacji. Starszyzna postanawia wyruszyć z powrotem na Kresy, choć jest to już tylko podróż mentalna.
