Cette opération a permis de comprendre l’organisation et l’évolution d’un quartier urbain de l’agglomération d’Intaranum sur les cinq premiers siècles de notre ère.Située immédiatement à l’est d’une voie reliant Entrains à Auxerre, la parcelle fouillée semble n’être investie que vers le début du Ier s. Les premiers indices d’occupation livrent l’image d’un paysage rural, peu anthropisé, centré chronologiquement sur la période augustéenne. SparseHC: A Memory-efficient Online Hierarchical Clustering Algorithm

Computing a hierarchical clustering of objects from a pairwise distance matrix is an important algorithmic kernel in computational science. Since the storage of this matrix requires quadratic space with respect to the number of objects, the design of memory-efficient approaches is of high importance to this research area. In this paper, we address this problem by presenting a memory-efficient online hierarchical clustering algorithm called SparseHC. SparseHC scans a sorted and possibly sparse distance matrix chunk-by-chunk. A dynamic phenomenon generates a complex relationship network between the entities involved in the process. At the abstract level, the relationships can be identity or topological filiations. Aim: Assessing the performances of different sampling approaches for documenting community diversity may help to identify optimal sampling efforts and strategies, and to enhance conservation and monitoring planning. Here, we used two data sets based on probabilistic and preferential sampling schemes of Italian forest vegetation to analyze the multifaceted performances of the two approaches across three major forest types at a large scale. A case formulation model for the assessment of psychological problems among deafblind persons

In order to describe and understand possible problems associated with deafblindness we applied a functional analysis case formulation strategy and Functional Analytic Clinical Case Diagrams (FACCD). We collected clinical assessment data from deafblind persons who were experiencing multiple psychological problems as reported by their healthcare professionals. The data were collected after the healthcare professionals were trained in functional analyses and in applying FACCD. Eettisesti haastavat tilanteet ja niiden kuormittavuus johtajien työssä: fokusryhmäkeskusteluiden analyysi

Tässä pilottitutkimuksessa tutkittiin laadullisesti johtajien työssään kokemia eettisesti haastavia tilanteita (sisällöt, kontekstit) sekä niissä koettuja ristiriitakokemuksia. Työtilanteita luokiteltiin laadullisen aineiston pohjalta. Aineisto kerättiin 16 suomalaisen johtajan fokusryhmäkeskusteluista (neljä ryhmää). Tulokset osoittivat, että johtajat kohtasivat usein työssään erilaisia eettisesti haastavia tilanteita suhteessa organisaation sidosryhmiin. Näitä sidosryhmiä olivat organisaation toimintaympäristö eli yhteiskunta, asiakkaat, omistajat sekä henkilöstö (johto, kollegat ja alaiset).
