The transformation of the Horatian Sabine farm in Persius? Satire 6

The purpose of this article is to focus on the motif of the countryside in Roman satire. In particular, it aspires to study the way the Sabine farm is delineated in Horace's Satire 2.6 and later in his Epistles, in order to elucidate the evolution of this motif in Persius? 6th Satire. In this poem, Persius addresses Caesius Bassus, who retreats to Sabine to seek poetic inspiration, but seems trapped in the paths of earlier poetry and cannot attain bliss, while the poet achieves it in the port of Luna.

Whereas cross-sectional research has shown that transformational leadership, task interdependence, and self-efficacy are positively related to teachers’ engagement in reflective learning activities, the causal direction of these relations needs further inquiry. At the same time, individual teacher learning might play a mutual role in strengthening school-level capacity for sustained improvement. Amazon was the world's top Research and Development (R&D) firm in 2017. Its R&D investment was double that of 2015, five times that of 2012, and ten times that of 2011. Such a rapid and notable increase in R&D investment has raised the question of a new R&D definition and focus in the digital economy, which Amazon insists includes both “routine or periodic alterations” (traditionally classified as non-R&D) and “significant improvement” (classified as R&D). Darbs ir veltīts neiropsiholoģisko datu – elektroencefalogrāfijas (EEG) signālu – izpētei. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt galvenās EEG signālu tendenču noteikšanas metodes indivīdam, kā arī salīdzināt EEG signālu jaudu vairākiem subjektiem. Tiek definēti EEG signāli, apskatītas metodes signālu jaudas un signālu kanālu novērošanai – Furjē transformācija, korelācija un koherence. Praktiskajā daļā ir apskatīts hipotēžu testu un regresijas analīzes pielietojums reālu datu modelim, lai atrastu būtiskākās EEG signālu jaudas atšķirības starp indivīdiem, signālu mērīšanas laiku un acu stāvokli.

Kvantu meklēšana ir uz klasiskās gadījumklejošanas balstīts meklēšanas algoritms, kur strukturētā datubāzē -- grafā meklē iezīmētu virsotni. Ir zināms, ka daudzos gadījumos kvantu klejošana var atrast iezīmēto virsotni laikā $O(\sqrt{n})$, kamēr klasiski nepieciešams $\Omega(n)$ laiks, kur $n$ ir grafa virsotņu skaits. Ja klejošanas sākumstāvoklis ir aptuveni vienāds ar stacionāro stāvokli, tad kvantu algoritms nesniedz priekšrocību pāri klasiskajam. Līdz ar to tiek pētīts, kad eksistē stacionārie stāvokļi, atkarībā no grafa un iezīmētām virsotnēm.
