Elektorālo protestu kontekstu un rezultātu sakarības. Salīdzinoša primārās izpētes analīze

Elektorālo protestu tēma pēdējā laikā ir aktualizējusies. Attiecīgi, rodas jautājums, kā protesta konteksts ietekmē protesta rezultātu. Teorētiskā pieeja primāri balstās uz Lipseta modernizācijas teoriju. Empīrisko bāzi veido elektorālie protesti, kas kopš 2000. gada notika 8 pēcpadomju valstīs. Situācija atlasītājas valstīs 5 gadu periodā pirms protestiem ir analizēta pēc vairākiem kritērijiem. Pētījums ir parādījis, ka modernizācijas līmenim nav būtiskas saistības ar protestu rezultātiem, kurus galvenokārt ietekmē faktoru kombinācija, un īpaši autokrātijas un režīma konsolidācijas līmenis valstī, kā arī atsevišķo aktoru lēmumi. Introduction One of the examples of genes whose expression can be altered by the action of ustekinumab is TGF-β. It is a pleiotropic cytokine whose activity affects psoriatic changes and the state of homeostasis of the whole organism. Aim To evaluate the effect of ustekinumab on the transcriptional activity of TGF-b family genes in patients with psoriatic arthritis and to check whether the results obtained can be helpful in monitoring the progress of treatment. Surface modification of poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid) with amino-functionalized silica nanoparticles

In this work we studied the possibility to achieve a hybrid-surface through the modification, via a facile wet chemical process, of the surface of films of poly(ethylene-co-acrylic acid) (EAA) with amino-modified silica nanoparticles. Films of EAA were preliminarily activated by the introduction of -COCl groups on their surface. Silica nanoparticles were thereafter covalently bound on the polymeric surface as confirmed by FTIR, ATR-FTIR, XPS, NMR and SEM determinations. W artykule przedstawiono alternatywny sposób pracy nad umiejętnością pisania w języku obcym, ukierunkowany nie tylko na czynne przyswojenie wzorców tekstowych właściwych dla danej społeczności językowo-kulturowej oraz uaktywnianie struktur językowych (gramatycznych, leksykalnych), ale także na doskonalenie kompetencji lingwistycznej. In this paper we present a method to generate a digital mosaic starting from a raster input image. Mosaics generation of artistic quality is challenging. The basic elements, the tiles, typically small polygons, must be packed tightly, emphasizing orientations chosen by the artist. An adhoc boundaries detection have to be performed according to the directional guidelines. Different mosaic styles can be automatically rendered, depending on artistic techniques considered (“opus musivum”, “opus vermiculatum”, etc.).
