The objective of this paper is to present a novel approach for the continuous monitoring of pavement condition through the use of combined piezoelectric sensing and novel condition-based interpretation methods. The performance of the developed approach is validated for the detection of bottom-up fatigue cracking through full-scale accelerated pavement testing (APT). Key drivers of consumer purchase of airline tickets: A cross-cultural analysis

Abstract This paper considers drivers of online airline ticket purchasing behaviour, and analyses the influence of attitude, subjective norm and perceived behavioural control on such decisions in two cultures. A number of hypotheses are examined using a sample of online shoppers in Spain and The Netherlands. We find that perceived control, subjective norm and attitude positively influence airline tickets online purchase intention in Spain, but in the Netherlands attitude is the key driver.

The importance of container security for international trade is well established and has been the subject of recent research in the follow up of the implementation of global security initiatives and the imperative of avoiding supply chain disruptions and reduce vulnerability. This article provides a review of the emerging literature on container security specifically in its interface with global logistics systems. The paper highlights the topics that have emerged as well-established research areas and indicates in what areas scholarly attention is most needed.
