Tacrolimus got the position crucial immunosuppressive drug in a solid organ transplantation. For obtaining the best long-term results it is essential an avoidance of excessive dose lowering and maintenance stable drug concentration. The intrapatient tacrolimus concentration variability, which exerts negative impact on the graft survival, should be differentiated from fluctuation, describing distinct pharmacokinetic event, without proven clinical significance. L’articolo tratta di alcune inedite opere d’arte decorativa in alabastro, avorio e corallo di collezione privata maltese che, per motivi sia tecnici che stilistico-compositivi, possono riconoscersi come manufatti trapanesi del XVIII secolo. The article deals with some unpublished alabaster, ivory and coral decorative arts kept in a Maltese private collection that, for technical and stylistic-compositional reasons, can be recognized as 18th century artifacts from Trapani.

Kluge on the occasion of his 65th birthday anniversary - Jürgen Kluge Special Issue; Multiply charged ions of stable xenon isotopes from a plasma ion source have been mass-selected by the on-line mass separator ISOLDE/CERN and delivered to the triple-trap mass spectrometer ISOLTRAP. The doubly charged ions that survived the charge-exchange processes during bunching and ion preparation were transferred to a precision Penning trap for mass determination. Mass values were obtained for the isotopes with mass numbers A=126,129,130,136. They are consistent with previous results except for the case of $^{126}Xe$ where a significant deviation from the literature value was found. …

Pētījuma mērķis bija izpētīt, kāda ir intrapersonālās emociju regulācijas, interpersonālās emociju regulācijas saistība ar attiecību intimitāti. Pētījumā piedalījās 61 heteroseksuālās attiecībās esoši pāri. Respondenti bija vecumā no 23 līdz 45 gadiem (M=31,05; SD=6,50). Visu pāru vidējais attiecību ilgums bija 8 gadi un 3 mēneši jeb 100 mēneši (M=100,39; SD=83,68). Par precētiem sevi norādīja 50 pāri, to vidējais laulības ilgums 6 gadi un 5 mēneši, jeb 78 mēneši (M=78,58; SD=12,31). Saistību noteikšanai tika izmantota Emociju regulācijas aptauja, Citu un sevis emociju regulācijas aptauja un Intīmo attiecību novērtējuma aptauja. Tässä tutkielmassa kuvataan korkeakouluopiskelijoiden kiusaamiskokemuksilleen antamia syitä. Tutkielmassa selvitetään, millaisia attribuutioita korkeakouluopiskelijat antavat kokemalleen koulu- ja korkeakoulukiusaamiselle sekä kiusaamisprosessiensa jatkumoille. Tutkimus suoritettiin pääosin laadullisena. Aineisto kerättiin laadullisen verkkokyselylo-makkeen avulla. Kyselyyn vastasi 91 korkeakouluopiskelijaa, joista 64 hyväksyttiin mukaan aineiston analysointivaiheeseen. Tutkimukseen osallistumisen ehtona oli, että opiskelija oli kokenut korkeakoulukiusaamista vertaistasolla. The present work aims to evaluate how an innovative and eco-friendly anodizing process with tartaric-sulfuric acid (TSA) bath and a pore widening in an aqueous solution of NaOH 0.1 M can improve the durability in marine environment of co-cured adhesive joints between an aluminum alloy (AA 5083) and fiber (i.e., glass or basalt)-reinforced composite substrates. The aging was carried out by exposing samples to salt-fog spray conditions (5 wt.% NaCl) for 30, 60 and 90 days in a climate chamber, in accordance with ASTM B117. With the beginning of the idiophase the highly phosphorylated guanylic nucleotides guanosine 5'-diphosphate 3'-diphosphate (ppGpp) and guanosine 5'-triphosphate 3'-diphosphate (pppGpp), collectively referred to as (p)ppGpp, activate stress survival adaptation programmes and trigger secondary metabolism in actinomycetes. The major target of (p)ppGpp is the RNA polymerase, where it binds altering the enzyme activity. In this study analysis of the polynucleotide phosphorylase (PNPase)-encoding gene pnp mRNA, in Nonomuraea sp. Connection between Absorption Properties and Conformational Changes in Deinococcus radiodurans Phytochrome

Phytochromes consist of several protein domains and a linear tetrapyrrole molecule, which interact as a red-light-sensing system. In this study, size-exclusion chromatography and light-scattering techniques are combined with UV-vis spectroscopy to investigate light-induced changes in dimeric Deinococcus radiodurans bacterial phytochrome (DrBphP) and its subdomains. The photosensory unit (DrCBD-PHY) shows an unusually stable Pfr state with minimal dark reversion, whereas the histidine kinase (HK) domain facilitates dark reversion to the resting state.
