La Batalla de Belchite (Zaragoza) fue una de las más cruentas de la Guerra Civil Española. En 1939 se ordenó la conservación de las ruinas provocadas por la guerra, que fueron significadas como un símbolo de la "barbarie roja"en contraposición a un nuevo pueblo levantado como reflejo de un nuevo orden. En 1964 se abandonó definitivamente el pueblo viejo comenzó un proceso de degradación y expolio de sus ruinas acompañado de un nuevo discurso generado por los XXV años de paz que trataba de alejar la mirada a los dramas de la guerra y la postguerra. A systematic review of maternal smoking during pregnancy and fetal measurements with meta-analysis

Maternal smoking during pregnancy is linked to reduced birth weight but the gestation at onset of this relationship is not certain. We present a systematic review of the literature describing associations between maternal smoking during pregnancy and ultrasound measurements of fetal size, together with an accompanying meta-analysis. Studies were selected from electronic databases (OVID, EMBASE and Google Scholar) that examined associations between maternal smoking or smoke exposure and antenatal fetal ultrasound measurements. El presente trabajo trata de analizar la relación entre el taller de Tomás Cobo, su viuda y su sobrino Luis Obispo, desde 1859 hasta 1905, con la Real Academia de Ciencias Exactas, Físicas y Naturales, estudiando la gestión de los encargos que se produjeron, conociendo el tipo de encuadernaciones que se encargaban, el número de volúmenes, el tipo de obras (monografías, revistas, publicaciones internas de la propia Academia…), los precios, los distintos talleres… Tomás Cobo trabajó para la Academia entre 1859 y 1869, su viuda entre 1869 y 1884 y su sobrino Luis Obispo entre 1884 y 1905, fecha última de la que tenemos documentación en la Academia
Residual antibacterial activity of a new modified sodium hypochlorite-based endodontic irrigation solution

Objective: In this in vitro study the antibacterial substantivity of a new sodium hypochlorite-based root canal irrigant (Hypoclean) in bovine root dentin was investigated. Study Design: Ninety dentin tubes prepared from bovine incisor teeth were used. After contamination for 14 days with Enterococcus faecalis, the specimens were divided into five groups as follows: Hypoclean; Tetraclean; 5.25% sodium hypochlorite (NaOCl); infected dentin tubes (positive control); and sterile dentin tubes (negative control). Post-translational modifications such as phosphorylation and palmitoylation play important roles for the function and regulation of receptors coupled to heterotrimeric guanyl nucleotide-binding proteins. Here we demonstrate that the human endothelin receptor A (ETA) incorporates [3H]palmitate. Mutation of a cluster of five cysteine residues present in the cytoplasmic tail of ETA into serine or alanine residues completely prevented palmitoylation of the receptor. Aunque no se conoce el alcance de las posesiones francas o alodiales sitas en su término, los establecimientos efectuados desde 1612 de los bienes que habían pertenecido a los moriscos (en calidad de dominio útil) consolidaron el régimen enfitéutico en Segorbe. This paper is concerned with the control problem of an air-breathing hypersonic aircraft using a switched linear-parameter-varying systems approach. The rigid non-linear longitudinal model of a generic hypersonic aircraft is adopted with the aim of verifying the design methodology of the developed controller and switching logic. Description and commissioning of NEXT-MM prototype: first results from operation in a Xenon-Trimethylamine gas mixture

[EN] A technical description of NEXT-MM and its commissioning and first performance is reported. Having an active volume of ∼35 cm drift × 28 cm diameter, it constitutes the largest Micromegas-read TPC operated in Xenon ever constructed, made by a sectorial arrangement of the 4 largest single wafers manufactured with the Microbulk technique to date. It is equipped with a suitably pixelized readout and with a sufficiently large sensitive volume (∼23 l) so as to contain long (∼20 cm) electron tracks.
