Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie użycia słowa „czas” w Księdze Syracydesa. W tym celu autor syntetycznie ukazał najpierw pole semantyczne terminu „czas” w języku hebrajskim i greckim. Entrepreneurship Training and Self-Employment among University Graduates

In economies characterized by low labor demand and high rates of youth unemployment, entrepreneurship training has the potential to enable youth to gain skills and create their own jobs. This paper presents experimental evidence on a new entrepreneurship track that provides business training and personalized coaching to university students in Tunisia. Undergraduates in the final year of licence appliquee were given the opportunity to graduate with a business plan instead of following the standard curriculum. A novel tunicate (Botryllus schlosseri) putative C-type lectin features an immunoglobulin domain.

We have cloned a putative C-type lectin of Botryllus schlosseri [Ascidiacea], whose deduced protein of 333 amino acids features three building blocks: (i) a Greek-key motif signature at the amino-terminus, (ii) a C-type lectin domain signature, and (iii) an immunoglobulin (Ig) domain at the carboxyl terminus. This C-type lectin was termed BSCLT. Similarity searches revealed that the Ig domain in BSCLT, which is evidently not polymorphic, is best classified as an Intermediate-type Ig domain. Rabbit antibodies, raised against recombinant BSCLT, cross-reacted in a Western blot with a 38-kD polypeptide in tunicate crude extract. (1955) on the growth of ovules and embryos of Datura stramonium, the interesting comparison between the growth of Capsella and Gossypium embryos effected by Pollock and Jensen (1964), the studies of Simoncioli (1974) and Tykarska (1980) on two Brassicaceae, respectively Diplotaxis erucoides and Brassica napus, and the work of Gray and al. Capillary electrophoresis (CE) was coupled to ICPMS in order to combine the good performance of this separation technique with the high sensitivity of the ICPMS for the analysis of plutonium and neptunium oxidation states. The combination of a fused-silica capillary with a MicroMist AR 30-I-FM02 nebulizer and a Cinnabar small-volume cyclonic spray chamber yielded the best separation results. With this setup, it was possible to separate a model element mixture containing neptunium (NpO2(+)), uranium (UO2(2+)), lanthanum (La3+), and thorium (Th4+) in 1 M acetic acid. Resonance ionization mass spectroscopic (RIMS) measurements for trace analysis and spectroscopy of 237Np, the ecologically most important isotope of neptunium, are described. The chemical procedure for the separation of neptunium from aqueous samples as well as the preparation of filaments for RIMS are outlined. Several two- and three-step excitation schemes have been investigated in order to find suitable conditions for the sensitive detection of 237Np. Using a three-step, three-color excitation and ionization scheme an overall detection efficiency of 3×10−8 was obtained, resulting in a detection limit of 4×108 atoms (160 fg) of 237Np. In Western countries human immunodeficiency virus infection is considered the main risk factor of tuberculous disease, its incidence being 500 times higher in HIV-infected patients than in the general population. Despite the disease frequently present in these patients with extraintestinal manifestations, intestinal localization is rarely observed and often as a consequence of complications such as acute gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation. Fine tuning of thermoelectric performance in phase-separated half-Heusler compounds

Two successful recipes to enhance the thermoelectric performance, namely carrier concentration optimization and reduction of thermal conductivity, have been combined and applied to the p-type (Ti/Zr/Hf)CoSb1−xSnx system. An intrinsic micrometer-scale phase separation increases the phonon scattering and reduces the lattice thermal conductivity. A substitution of 15% Sb by Sn optimizes the electronic properties. Starting from this, further improvement of the thermoelectric properties has been achieved by a fine tuning of the Ti to Hf ratio. Abstract Assessing the status of genetic variability of native sheep breeds could provide important clues for research and policy makers to devise better strategies for the conservation and management of genetic resources. In this study, a genetic investigation of Tunisian sheep breeds using a genome-wide scan of approximately 50,000 SNPs was performed. To reconstruct genetic structure and relationships among four sheep breeds, 40 samples belonging to fat-tailed Barbarine, Queue Fine de l’Ouest, Noire de Thibar and D’Man breeds were genotyped using Illumina Ovine SNP50 BeadChip.
