Root pathogens play an important economical role in the production of vegetable and ornamental plants. They cause high losses especially in green house production and are difficult to combat by conventional methods, because the use of pesticides in soils or substrates is limited. The application of arbuscular mycorrhiza could be an alternative as mycorrhizal plants generally showed higher resistance against various soil-borne pathogenic fungi. The ancient site of Jebel Oust (Tunisia) grew up around a hot spring, which was a focus for worship at the start of the first millennium AD, until it dried up in Late Antiquity. A geoarchaeological study of the hydrological functioning of the spring, catchment mechanisms for hot water and associated anthropic infrastructure makes it possible to trace the environmental history of the sanctuary/hot spring complex and draws on the example of Jebel Oust to provide new evidence supporting the identification of a water cult in the Roman era.

In the last 50 yr, shark populations showed steep declines in the Mediterranean Sea. The IUCN lists most Mediterranean species as threatened (55%), while considering 27.5% of them Data Deficient. Here, sharks are currently one of the rarest and more elusive groups of animals, and data from fisheries and scientific monitoring still insufficiently support robust abundance and distribution assessments. New technologies can fill this data gap by linking people and scientists through new monitoring strategies. La educación para la igualdad requiere de la implicación de todas y cada una de las agencias que participan de este proceso. En este trabajo hemos querido conocer en qué medida los videojuegos más vendidos y utilizados por la población infantil y juvenil transmiten contenidos que contribuyen a su educación para la igualdad o, por el contrario, la dificultan. Para ello hemos analizado el contenido de los diez videojuegos más jugados por menores y adolescente, atendiendo a los valores y disvalores que transmiten, centrando nuestra atención en la representación de modelos de mujer y roles de género.
