Nuorten yhteiskunnallinen osallistaminen kulttuuri- ja vapaa-ajan toiminnan kautta

Nuorten osallistumisen ja osallisuuden lisäämisestä on tullut tärkeä yhteiskunnallinen tavoite, jota yritetään edistää erilaisten ohjelmien ja projektien kautta. Tarkastelemme artikkelissa osallistamista tutkimalla nuorille vuosina 2017­–2018 suunnattua kulttuuri- ja vapaa-ajan toimintaa Keski-Suomessa. Tutkimme, miten kulttuuriin liittyvällä toiminnalla pyritään edistämään nuorten laajempaa yhteiskunnallista osallistumista ja osallisuutta. Liikkeenjohdon konsultoinnin professionaalistumista on Suomessa tutkittu vuosikymmenen puolivälissä. Tutkimuksen mukaan ala on nuori ja vain osittain järjestäytynyt. Konsulttien koulutustaso on kirjava, vaihtuvuus on suuri eikä alalle ole muodostunut markkinasuojaa. Monet ulkoiset muutostekijät luovat kuitenkin tarvetta professionaalistumisprosessin etenemiselle. The kinetic models of metabolic pathways represent a system of biochemical reactions in terms of metabolic fluxes and enzyme kinetics. Therefore, the apparent differences of metabolic fluxes might reflect distinctive kinetic characteristics, as well as sequence-dependent properties of the employed enzymes. On the Mechanism of Xylene Isomerization and its Limitations as Reaction Test for Solid Acid Catalysts

The kinetics of the gas-phase isomerization of m-xylene, over a series of ultraestable Y zeolites, has been studied in a fixed-bed flow reactor under initial conditions. Using deuterated p-xylene as reactant it has been seen that more than 20% of the m- and o-xylene obtained, are formed via a bimolecular mechanism. The relative proportion of uni- to bimolecular mechanism depends on the zeolite composition. The relation between the turnover number, calculated from the kinetic rate constant for the unimolecular mechanism, and the framework Al content of the zeolite, was coincident with the topological zeolite model. The aim of this research was to examine key correlates of the interaction between work and family in one Nordic country, Finland, using a person- oriented and variable-oriented approach. The correlates that were chosen and examined over the course of three studies were job control and work-family boundary management styles, turnover intention, core self-evaluations, and vigor at work. Of Friends and Foes in Organizations: A Theoretical Perspective Upon Performance at Work

Abstract The present paper highlights, from a theoretical perspective, the main challenges which aim work performance, inside meta- analytical research studies in organizations, focusing, especially, on factors and organizational concepts, directly related to performance and their relations within. Results show that, in most cases, human resources oriented management resides in an increase of performance at work. In this manner, team effectiveness, group size and proactive behavior determine and influence the levels of work performance, from a positive perspective, whilst turnover is widely associated with a negative view.

Perceived development opportunities and reward satisfaction as antecedents of nurses’ job withdrawal intentions

Retention of nurses has received considerable attention in recent years due to the ageing population and the shortage of nurses. However, most of the studies have concentrated on either older nurses’ early retirement or younger nurses’ turnover intentions. This study analyses the antecedents of different forms of job withdrawal intentions with special reference to perceived development opportunities and reward satisfaction.
