Predicted gamma-ray image of SN 1006 due to inverse Compton emission

We propose a method to synthesize the inverse Compton (IC) gamma-ray image of a supernova remnant starting from the radio (or hard X-ray) map and using results of the spatially resolved X-ray spectral analysis. The method is successfully applied to SN 1006. We found that synthesized IC gamma-ray images of SN 1006 show morphology in nice agreement with that reported by the H.E.S.S. collaboration. The good correlation found between the observed very-high energy gamma-ray and X-ray/radio appearance can be considered as an evidence that the gamma-ray emission of SN 1006 observed by H.E.S.S. is leptonic in origin, though the hadronic origin may not be excluded.

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir pamatojoties uz iepakojuma ietekmes teoriju un pircēja rīcību teorijas analīzi un kvalitatīvo un kvantitatīvo metožu pētījumiem, noskaidrot produkta iepakojuma nozīmi pircēju izvēlē, atklāt nepilnības un sniegt priekšlikumus. Darbs sastāv no trim nodaļām. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aprakstīti iepakojuma teorētiskais raksturojums - iepakojuma funkcijas, dizaina elementi un ietekmes raksturojumi. Otrā nodaļa ietver pircēju rīcības analīzi un tiek aprakstīts izvēles veikšanas modelis un faktori, kas to ietekmē. Trešajā nodaļa tiek aprakstīti anketas un fokusgrupas iegūtie rezultāti. Darba mērķis ir novērtēt, vai no Latvijas Universitātes Cietvielu fizikas institūta laboratorijā atsevišķi pieejamām ierīcēm ir iespējams izveidot vienotu automatizētu mērīšanas iekārtu, kas būtu lietojama fotodiožu izejas signāla spektrālās atkarības noteikšanai. Pirmajā nodaļā ir veikta literatūras analīze par pusvadītājiem. Otrajā nodaļā ir secīgi aprakstīta automatizētās mērīšanas iekārtas izveide. Trešajā nodaļā tiek analizēti iegūtie rezultāti, veikta salīdzināšana ar teorētiskajiem datiem. W artykule przedstawiona została problematyka funkcjonowania dyplomacji Rzeczypospolitej w stosunkach z Rosją w latach 1711-1763. Za dolną cezurę przyjęto poselstwo Marcjana Dominika Wołłowicza do cara Piotra I, które jednoznacznie zakończyło okres separatystycznych litewskich działań dyplomatycznych z pierwszej dekady XVIII wieku. Przywrócona została zasada prowadzenia wspólnej polityki zagranicznej Korony i Wielkiego Księstwa z uwzględnieniem większego zainteresowania Litwinów stosunkami z Rosją. Tässä kontrastiivisessa työssä tarkastellaan suomen kielen nominatiivialkuisten yhdyssanojen vastineita ranskan kielessä. Aineisto koostuu yhteensä 991 nominatiivialkuisesta yhdyssanasta, jotka on kerätty Arto Paasilinnan romaanista Ulvova mylläri sekä niiden ranskankielisistä vastineista Anne Colin du Terrailin käännöksessä. Suomalaisten sanojen aineisto on rajattu koskemaan ainoastaan yhdyssubstantiiveja. Background: Change in the prevalence of raised blood pressure could be due to both shifts in the entire distribution of blood pressure (representing the combined effects of public health interventions and secular trends) and changes in its high-blood-pressure tail (representing successful clinical interventions to control blood pressure in the hypertensive population). Visual understanding of divergence and curl: Visual cues promote better learning

Prior research has shown that students struggle to indicate whether vector field plots have zero or non-zero curl or divergence. In an instruction-based eye-tracking study, we investigated whether visual cues (VC) provided in the vector field plot can foster students’ understanding of these concepts. The VC were only present during instruction and highlighted conceptual information about vector decomposition and partial derivatives. Thirty-two physics majors were assigned to two groups, one was instructed with VC about the problemsolving strategy, and one without. Mitruma ietekme uz būvkonstrukcijām un komforta apstākļiem telpās

Darbā analizēts kā būvēs no atšķirīgiem konstrukciju materiāliemmainās mitruma līmenis gan gaisā, gan pašās konstrukcijāsatkarībā no āra gaisa relatīvā mitruma, temperatūras, ventilācijas intensitātes un ūdens iztvaikošanas intensitātes telpā. Šādi tika pētīts arī kā cilvēka izdalītais mitrums ietekmē telpu mikroklimatu. Analizējot ilgtermiņa monitoringa datus parādīts, ka faktiskās būvkonstrukciju siltuma caurlaidības vērtības var būtiski atšķirties no aprēķinātajām vērtībām un būtiski mainīties arī būvju ekspluatācijas laikā.
